Wilderness: In 1996, while on a private flight chartered by Lottie's father in destination for Seattle for Nationals, the plane crashed in the canadian rockies, leaving the Yellowjackets soccer team stranded in the wilderness. The group survived in an abandoned cabin that belonged to a deceased hunter, surviving off of meager food and rations. During that timeframe, Shauna took on the role of the butcher, responsible for rationing and cutting the meat hunted by Natalie and Travis. Along the way, various members of the team died. Deceased: Coach Bill Martinez: Ejected from the plane during the crash, impaled in a tree. Laura Lee: Found the cabin owner's Cessna, taught herself how to fly it to find rescue, but the plane exploded mid-air Jackie Taylor: Shauna and Jackie had a fight when Jackie finds out Shauna has been sleeping with Jeff, Jackie's boyfriend. Jackie goes outside the cabin, it begins snowing and Jackie dies frozen to death. The girls ate her corpse after days without food in the middle of winter. While in the wilderness, Shauna finds out she is pregnant from her and Jeff's affair, leading her to go through the pregnancy while in the wilderness.
