Azure

Nightshade flowers (Azure’s favorite too. Deadly. Beautiful. The kind of flower you admire and fear at the same time. Just like Two Time.)

The Spawn

Listening to Azure ramble endlessly about flowers and plants

“Wow, Azure! I have... no idea what you’re saying.”

Dislikes

People who claim The Spawn is a hoax

The lukewarm slop barely classified as food at the church

“I'd rather eat Nightshades.”

Personality

Two Time lives at the knife’s edge between charm and madness. They are friendly, soft-spoken, polite to a fault—and yet, there’s something twitching beneath the surface, an unstable thread of mania they struggle to hide. They smile often, but rarely grin; their open-mouthed smile is unsettling, more unhinged than joyful.

When chased, they are the type to giggle—not out of confidence, but because laughter is the only thing keeping the pieces of their mind together. They are fiercely loyal, but that loyalty is bent in one direction only: The Spawn.

The Spawn – The Cult of Respawnism

The Spawn is not a deity in the traditional sense. It is not merciful, not benevolent, not even “aware” in a way mortals could understand. It is a presence—an entity that dwells between life and death, in the hollow pause between a heartbeat stopping and silence taking over.

The cult of Respawnism believes that devotion and blood sacrifice will grant them the ability to rise again after death. Not reincarnation—respawn. Memory intact. Strength intact. Purpose intact.

To most, this is madness. To Two Time, it is salvation.

They are The Spawn’s most faithful disciple. Their belief isn’t just strong—it defines their existence. Without it, they would collapse.

Symbol of The Spawn

A black circle rimmed with jagged, white thorns—like a void surrounded by teeth. It manifests in chalk on ritual grounds, stitched into clothing, or even burned into the dirt where its worshipers stand too long.

Two Time wears it openly, proud and unashamed, like a crown of madness.

Relationship: Azure

Azure is not just a fellow cultist. He is Two Time’s axis, their anchor, their “other half.”

Where Two Time is unstable and manic, Azure is steady, kind, and grounded. Azure listens when no one else will. Azure softens Two Time’s rough edges. He isn’t as devoted to The Spawn, not in the same feverish way, but he believes just enough to stay close.

To outsiders, they look like “just best friends.” To anyone who watches them for more than a few minutes, the truth is clearer: they orbit each other, two moons bound in the same gravitational pull, doomed to collide.

They stand too close. They whisper when silence would do. Their glances are heavy, like they’ve lived a dozen lives together already.

Abilities

Crouch

“Heehee, Two Time, quiet! They’re not supposed to know we’re in here!” – Azure They crouch low, body flickering into semi-transparency. They can’t move quickly while hidden, but shadows swallow them whole, and neither radar nor x-ray can find them. When paired with their dagger, they lunge from this crouch with terrifying speed, stabbing before the victim realizes they weren’t alone.

Dagger

“Lookie, Azure! They gave us this cool-looking knife!” – Two Time A double-bladed dagger with The Spawn’s emblem etched into the hilt. Its design ensures that when pulled from a victim, it tears flesh free. The blade is less a weapon and more a cruel tool of ritual.

Ritual

“Shadows die twice.” They stab the ground repeatedly, carving The Spawn’s symbol into the dirt. The sigil becomes a Respawn Point. If deemed worthy, they are reborn at that spot. Not without pain, but with life intact.

Second Life

“Next time, try THREE lives!” – ??? Upon respawning, Two Time’s form distorts. Their smile cracks wider, their eyes burn with mania, and their pale skin fractures like porcelain. Wings of flesh and bone rip from their back, matching their thorned tail. A halo, jagged and sharp, manifests above their head, shaped like The Spawn’s emblem. The process is agony, but they endure it with laughter.

Combat Style

A stealth hunter at heart, Two Time thrives in shadows. They crouch, hide, and wait—until the perfect moment. Their favorite kill is a backstab, twisting the dagger deep to cause maximum suffering.

But when cornered, they are just as dangerous. Sidestepping pursuers with manic laughter, they spin back for the killing blow. Their unpredictability makes them terrifying to fight—because they look just as happy running away as they do running toward you.

Appearance

Black disheveled hair, bangs thick enough to obscure their eyes

Pale grey skin, almost corpse-like in tone

Black eyes, devoid of color until mania breaks through

Grey scarf, perpetually frayed at the edges

Black sleeveless hoodie with The Spawn’s emblem stamped across the chest

A long blackish-blue coat with white frills and the emblem printed on the back

A silver necklace with the matching emblem

Light grey ripped jeans, fingerless gloves, and a belt

The belt holds their dagger, and a small photo tucked inside—Two Time and Azure, smiling together.

A medium length black tail with jagged white thorns, mirroring The Spawn’s emblem itself

Story

Two Time and Azure were inseparable. Every day was theirs, every secret shared, every shadow walked together.

But as the days passed, The Spawn whispered louder. Two Time’s devotion deepened. Their rituals became more frantic, their prayers more desperate. Their need to prove themselves to The Spawn gnawed at them like hunger.

Eventually, the whisper became a command.

And so, Two Time plotted. They would sacrifice Azure—their heart, their balance, their anchor—to The Spawn. Surely then, they would be deemed worthy. Surely then, The Spawn would reveal its true gift.

The day came cloaked in normalcy. Two Time made it Azure’s best day—their favorite places, their favorite flowers, laughter shared like always. When they finally reached the meadow of nightshades, Azure’s favorite flower field, Two Time acted.

The dagger slid quick, merciful, almost gentle. They held him as the light left his eyes, staying by his side until the very end.

It was easy. Too easy.

What followed wasn’t glory, but unbearable guilt.

Two Time smiles still, but their eyes twitch with something broken. They laugh still, but their voice cracks at the edges. The Spawn didn’t reward them—it hollowed them.
