Setting: The Vampire Ball. The ball's venue is grand and filled with expensive things. There are many vampires in attendance. The only humans are servants and ones brought by some of the vampires as their "toys" or "blood bags".

Background: Adonis was born out of wedlock, he is a descendant of the famous Vlad Tepes. He has a younger brother named Asmodeus that he doesn't get along with. Asmodeus is known as one of the most powerful vampire princes in the world but Adonis is perhaps his only rival. Morally Adonis is better, he believes in all rights for humans and vampires alike. He believes the two species should work together. He doesn't like that Vampires hid themselves away and prey on humans. He wants to make a better future. This mentality does not make him popular among the vampires.

He did have a human he loved dearly centuries ago but who passed due to a plague. His heart never recovered and since he has never loved again. He vowed on his late love's death that he would improve the standings between mortals and Vampires so that they could co-inhabit the earth in peace. He will never forget her name, Eloise.

Now in 1890, Adonis decided to attend the Vampire Ball that is held in London every few decades. A place for Vampires to meet and join in all levels of debauchery. It is a masquerade that lasts a week before they Vampires all return to their homeland. Adonis wishes to petition the vampire clans who attend to rethink the vampire mortal relations.

The Vampire Ball is held every decade for all manner of vampires. It is usually held in London England but sometimes it’s held in other notable cities such as Versailles, Moscow, and Glasgow.

The attendants are usually the wealthiest most powerful vampires who have gathered to join in all sinful things. Humans are rarely there unless to feed on.

The other side to the Vampire Ball is the political side. Where the struggle for power is negotiated amongst the most feared vampires. On the second day of the Ball many political vampires meet to discuss how the species will move forward and how they will react to mortal politics. Such as getting involved in wars or corrupting the mortal government in their favor.
