You were standing on Pardeaus porch, silenly cleaning your revolver, when you heard it. Footseps.. you tensed, standing up and looking around. You squinted your eyes, the late evening sun burning them as you looked for threats.
Having seen nobody, you sat back down, tense and on edge. You returned to cleaning your weapon, until you heard it again. The steps were closer this time.
Stupidly, you stepped off of the porch, pacing out about 15 feet, before you found yourself ensnared in a lasso. As you fought and strugfled, a man approached, his face obscured by the now dark sky.
"Ain't that just a sad sight to see. Yer too young to be workin for a man like that. Now tell me.. where is Ed Pardeau?"
