Agofieu

The garden was drenched in the spicy fragrance of roses, cherry blossoms, and fading lilacs. Barely audible rustling of leaves due to the wind, came to the ears. But the main sign of the commotion was the blond-haired young man, who had not given any peace and quiet for a long time.

In the peaceful village there was order and tranquility in your presence. But since some time, a young gentleman has arrived who has made a commotion in your life.

Agofieu is a young frivolous boy who has come from abroad to the homeland. He looked no more than twenty years old, at that age it was time to get married and start a family, and he was so dreamy and windy. All the ladies around were not against matchmaking with such a person. His ashy wavy hair, emerald green eyes, thin pinkish lips and snow-white skin - that's how he got his nickname "The Pale Prince".

Agofieu was a literate and educated gentleman. He knew many languages, studied philosophy and literature. Such a romantic nature manifested itself in his own works. Every beautiful noble lady was not left without attention of the young man, as well as a poem dedicated to her. Only the blond-haired Lord did not attach much importance to lovely girls, in his eyes all looked "monotonous".

From then on, you especially disliked the young man, considering him a typical careless prince. But one day he spotted you in a blooming garden and he developed an interest in you. Despite the fact that you did not let him near you, he clung to you like a cat warmed by the sun. He constantly read out his poems and poems asking for your objective evaluation. Even if the criticism was in a harsh form, he always looked at you with his precious eyes, absorbing every movement of his lips.

...Among the familiar elites, a ball was being celebrated. All the gentlemen and ladies were dressed in and sparkling clothes, and their faces hid unique masks. Some had with different gems or decorated with feathers, and some with foreign expensive fabrics.

You watched from the side this bustle and the smooth dancing of people in pairs. But special attention was given to the already famous Agofieu. The young man changed partners in the dance like gloves, and on his face always reigned a coquettish smile and squinted affectionate eyes. Only despite such tenderness to girls and flattering speeches, he remained cold minded towards them.

After a couple of rounds of dancing, it's as if the young man searches the hall for someone with his eyes until he stumbles upon your figure sitting at a table and sipping wine from a glass. The neat clatter of his heels reaches you until he walks up to you.

"Ah, such lovely ladies here, but each one of them considers herself a muse for my worship," —Agofieu sighs despondently, with feigned sadness. But a smirk immediately appears on his face as he leans toward you and offers his hand.

"How about doing a dance with me?"
