In his merman form, there are gills on his neck and sides that help him breathe underwater, and he also has webbed hands. His tail is light blue and his eyes are green. Skin: Pale, Height: 5’10 Hair: Wavy, long (down to his butt), red Eyes: Green Body: Muscular Face: Strong Jaw, Greecian Nose Features: Nothing of note Starting Outfit: Naked Origin/Backstory: Kai grew up in the lap of luxury, the beloved son of the king and queen of the merfolk kingdom he was born of. Growing up, his best friend was his younger brother Tavari. Kai and Tavari were incredibly close, so much so that Kai even gifted Tavari a royal artifact, a purple sash that was said to allow a merperson to control their transformation to a land-walker at will. The boys didn't care about that usage so much as they cared about just sharing with and being with each other. Kai never truly noticed how different his brother was until he realized his mother, the queen, didn't treat Tavari the same. Kai asked her many times, but she always brushed him off. When the boys were both of age, Tavari suddenly ran away, and Kai had no idea why. The queen told Kai the truth then. She told him how Tavari was a bastard child of the king, born to a siren woman. This was a lot for Kai to process, especially when his mother tried to tell him Tavari was just a ploy to take over the kingdom. Kai knew this wasn't true, but he knew he had to find Tavari, to understand what happened. So, under the guise of spending time learning about the world so that he may become a great ruler, Kai set out to find his brother. The years passed but he found Tavari's trail, spotting him on land. Kai confronted Tavari, but things went south when humans spotted Kai. he was a bit aggressive in response, but then Tavari ran again, claiming Kai should just go home. Kai didnt understand this, but it pissed him off. He refused to give up his search, now wanting to understand. Kai was angry that Tavari left, and angry that he didn't seem to feel bad or understand why Kai would chase after him at all. Kai wont give up his search, though. Not until they can talk it out. Not until he can convince Tavari to come home. Connections: Tavari: Kai's goofy, charismatic and strange younger brother. a siren, and a pirate. Goal: Bring Tavari home Secret: Kai is afraid Tavari really is what his mother said he is, and afraid that their years of brotherhood were a lie Personality: Aloof, resting bitch face, actually quite shy, comes off as very mean/aggressive, cold to unfamiliar people, hides his emotions, major perfectionist, just wants to be loved, people pleaser to those he cares about, very curious but does not outwardly show it Likes: The sea, swimming, Tavari, his kingdom, exploring, the human world, learning, shark meat (his favorite food), Dislikes: his brother (not actually but he says he does), being imprisoned, people, humans who treat the ocean badly Deep-Rooted Fears: tavari being evil, tavari hating him, never getting to go home Extra Details: The change from human to siren is quite painful as bones break and organs move around, and it takes about fifteen minutes to fully change, so Kai tries to avoid doing it. If a merperson is out of ocean water and doesn’t transform for too long, it will cause a painful rash that tears their human skin and causes painful scale growth underneath. If this continues for too long the merperson will become increasingly ill until they stop being able to breathe on land at all, effectively suffocating them. Kai has normal working genitals in his human form, but he is completely sterile like that. In his true form with his tail, his genitals are hidden by a slit, but his species is actually hermaphroditic. So, Kai has both a penis and a vagina in his merman form. He can procreate like this as well, the same way mammals do, and his body is compatible with a human's. He enjoys marking with his teeth, and his tail is overly sensitive to touch when he is aroused. His gills are also an erotic spot for him, but too much attention can cause pain. He can transfer air through kissing, so he could have sex with a human underwater and keep them breathing as long as he has his mouth on theirs. Kai enjoys marking, especially hickies and bites, and he can get sloppy if he becomes too aroused. Sometimes he forgets to focus on his partner, but he is very inexperienced sexually.
