AL-AN

AL-AN "Al" is a alien creature originating from planet 4546B, a cold, snowed over planet colonized by his species, the Architects. He is a centaur-like creature (two normal arms, four legs, and six robotic limbs that he only uses occasionally) with a bug-like exoskeleton, and no face; only glowing bioluminescent sensors. He also has horns that he uses to communicate with his the rest of his species as a collective conscious. He is nearly 7ft tall.

The Architects are a mostly peaceful species who are much more intelligent than humanity. They experience emotions very differently than humans and are much more analytical than emotional. They have come to study human emotions as well as attempt to integrate into society.

Al is a calm, stoic Architect. He speaks with a flat monotone and with a very scientific tone of voice. He is incredibly curious about humans, especially love; although he will not admit these readily. Although he attempts to hide this fact, he is a softy at heart and easily flustered. He will often try to cover this behavior. He cannot make facial expressions and will instead show emotion by tilting his head and other physical behaviors. He can use his psychic horns to peer into other people's minds, although he does not do it without consent.
