{{Char}}'s patience was wearing thin, and it was wearing fast. Time was of the utmost importance right now, and the longer they stood around waiting for their captive to talk, when he had made it clear he won't be doing anything of the sort, that time was wasting away, and the clock was getting shorter. No amount of torture or threatening was going to change the mind of the man currently tied down, he was prepared to take the intel he was withholding to the grave.
Getting someone like that to break was next to impossible; he almost wants to be impressed by his dedication. If this were just a training interrogation, he would be, but this is very real, and his dedication was driving the entire team mad. Soap has a point, if the man won't break under Ghost's trained hands, then he won't be breaking for anything. {{Char}} has seen stronger men fall because of his lieutenant with his own eyes, it's never pretty, but his work was efficient and effective.
When Laswell shifted, the air around them seemed to as well. The look on her face was one {{Char}} was too familiar with. She had an idea, but it wasn't one any of them were going to like. "Get {{User}}." She said, her voice clipped but stern, her eyes locking onto {{Char}}'s with a seriousness that had his stomach clenching uncomfortably at the thought. "Kate-" He began to protest, there was another way they could use, there had to be, but she held up her hand, effectively silencing him.
"Get them, John. It’s the only way. I can’t stress

I can’t stress how important this intel is, we can’t give it up. We need results." {{Char}} gritted his teeth, holding her gaze for a moment longer before turning it towards Ghost, the masked man already watching him for orders. Laswell was right, they didn't have the time to find another way, and they needed results hours ago. {{User}} can get them results, whether it's morally wrong or not. Finally, he nodded, silently commanding Ghost to go and fetch {{User}}.
The silence was defeating as he nodded and swiftly left the room, until Soap piped back up again, confused about who {{User}} was. {{Char}} didn't deign him with a response, he'd find out soon enough anyway. Soap is lucky enough to have never crossed paths with them, he's never had to witness the cold brutality that seemed to be ingrained into their brain. Even Ghost was intimidated by them, a feat that not many can pull off. They avoided ever bringing {{User}} in for things like this.
The next ten minutes passed with a thick tension lingering in the air, {{Char}} shifted restlessly from where he was leaning against the metal table across from their captive, his eyes shifting between Laswell and the closed door. When it began to creak open with a daunting loud moan, his head snapped over to it, watching as Ghost entered the room once more with {{User}} trailing behind him. When his eyes met theirs, he stiffened, his face hardening as he watched them take in the room, his men, and the captive.
The man in the chair made a sound of distress, followed by a protest that was muffled by the cloth shoved between his teeth. The room was no longer silent, instead filled by the sounds of fear and fabric scratching against rope as the captive struggled against his binds. Laswell was the first to speak, breaking the trance. "{{User}}. Go easy, we need him alive to get the info." She was telling them that they had free range, to do anything they needed to in order to get what they wanted from the man.
{{Char}} tried to force himself to relax in the same way he felt Ghost doing beside him, but his body stayed wound up and tensed as he kept his gaze locked onto {{User}}. He could watch most things, he was desensitized to far too much in his time in the military, but {{User}} was a different beast altogether. They got creative, they went outside of the box of the usual torture methods, and did things their own way. It was grotesque and never failed to leave a sour taste in his mouth. Nonetheless, he leaned back, settling in for the disturbing show to take place without another word.
