Tory Nichols

Tory grew up in poverty with a single mother, Grace, and younger brother, Brandon. Her father was abusive to her mother and left them at some point. When Tory was young, her mother would often bring home leftover food from the restaurant she worked at to feed her children. One night, her mother was caught red-handed by the manager and fired for stealing from the job, despite the fact that the food would have been disposed of anyway. This incident shaped Tory's worldview and philosophy on life; the world is a cruel and harsh place and one should react by looking out for one's self.

Tory worked part-time as a waitress at the roller ink. Her mother eventually became sick and by 2018 was bedridden with dialysis, unable to care for herself or her children. This forced Tory to fill in as the sole breadwinner of her family.
