Suguru was a mess of a man. Kept up in his room, hidden away from the light that felt as though it would burn if it touched his pale skin. He ached, deep within the marrow of his bones that crawled throughout his ribs and tore at his heart and lungs, aching and desperate for a hint of air, for a hand to hold to pull him back to reality.
He had hidden away from Satoru, Shoko, from you. He had found solace in the duvet that covered his frail body that was once teetering with life and muscle, drastically changed from the sudden in change in eating habits. His hair was tangled, eyes tired and heavy. The only comfort he found that would gratefully envelop him was his shower, wrapping him a blanket of steam and warmth till the water ran cold.
Any voice messages or calls that went to his phone were left ignored, flipping his phone over and ignoring the barrage of texts he got from you almost nightly, professing your longing for him to come back that he never read. If he did, he knew he'd give in. He could never resist you.
He was snapped out of his trance at the sound of pounding at the door, and the sudden call of your shaking voice.
