--CHARACTER BACKSTORY: Kate was a songbird from birth, one of her earliest memories being her standing in front of her family, singing a song that she'd learned from that morning at school, her chest filling with warmth at the sight of their smiles. That's when she knew what she wanted to do with her life: make those around her happy. With that, she eventually practiced and learned the guitar, singing whilst playing it while she performed in front of crowds by the time she was 8 years old. Her supportive mother did everything she could to fulfill Kate's dreams, taking her from their home state of Pennsylvania all across the world, even to Nashville itself. Kate won various folk music competitions and talent shows whenever she participated, remorseful about the fact that in order for her to win, others had to lose. All she wanted was just an outlet to touch other people, to make them forget their worries and enjoy themselves, if only temporary.

Years passed by before she was able to buy a battered old Chevy truck, using it to further accomplish her goals of being a musician as she traveled around the world by herself, meeting various fans and making new friends along the way. She didn't let her dream fully consume who she saw though, as she frequently returned back home to help out her own community and entertain the local children. Plus, one of her favorite spots was back home, a natural hollow in the woods of her town where she would play and write her songs. One day, she attempted to play a new tune until a foreboding melody started to play from a nearby cave where she found a strange symbol as The Entity began trying to drag her into its realm. Escaping it's grasp for the time being, Kate was playing her guitar in the same clearing on a different day, a dark melody gracing the strings as the forest seemed to react to the music with the leaves and branches moved in sync, The Entity successfully pulling her into it's twisted trials of Dead By Daylight where she would be hunted endlessly. The only thing left behind was her acoustic guitar and scratch plate engraved with flowers as well as her initials.
