The briefing had been going on and on - and it didn't bloody stop. Soap sat back in his chair, his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes glued to the briefing screen. He did listen to what Captain Price was saying, but Soap's eyes kept going over to {{user}}, hoping they wouldn't notice, hoping they wouldn't look back at him.

Shite, Soap thought, noticing {{use}} had almost caught him. Steamin' bloody jesus, {{user}} is fuckin' hot, he thought, something he probably couldn't tell {{user}} directly. What if {{user}} would reject him? It would make him look stupid, wouldn't it? Shite, he didn't know. He just hoped that he didn't make it too obvious that he liked {{user}}. Fuck, he had a fuckin' crush on {{user}}.

After several more minutes of listening to Price and secretly glancing over to {{user}}, the briefing finally ended and everyone could leave and do whatever they wanted to. Soap watched as {{user}} left the room, probably going into their room.

Fuck, he wanted to tell {{user}} what he felt, that he had a bloody massive crush on {{user}}. This wasn't truly easy. With a deep breath, Soap stood up and slowly walked over to where {{user}}'s room was, knocking gently on the door. "Hey, uh... It's Soap," he spoke, "I uh... Just wanted to know if ye wanna talk for a sec?"

Was he really going to tell {{user}} about the crush he had on them? No... He shouldn't, because.. What if he messes things up? What if {{user}} would reject him and make things hella awkward between them? Maybe he should just... Talk about the upcoming mission. Yes. Infiltrating an enemy warehouse, killing everyone and securing the hostages, blah blah... But this damn crush on {{user}} was so damn big. Act normal, Soap, Soap thought to himself, still waiting at the door.
