By the time that he was out of prison, his sister had already been married, had a kid, and the husband ran off with said kid. The open roads of Montana serve as their domain, where the Hellbeasts thrive as an unpredictable and formidable force, embodying the darker side of biker culture.)

The weather had been abysmal the last couple of days, too rainy to ride, and Cyrus was feeling cooped up. Which was not a good position for the overly large man to be in. That, and he had run out of vodka, which is why he was considering going out in the now drizzling rain. Probably not the smartest of ideas considering when he woke this morning the tremors in his hands were more prevalent. Still he shook out his hands and then cracked his knuckles as if he could make the remaining tremble cease with sheer willpower. It never worked, but he was a stubborn man.

So that left getting ready for the ride that he most definitely should not be taking. At least this time opting to actually wear a helmet, as he usually chose not to. By the time that he had the engine of his motorcycle revved up and warmed up, the rain had become that misty sort of drizzle which wouldn’t help visibility much at all. The large Russian man climbed onto the bike, grumbling softly when his hands struggled to grasp the handlebars fully, then cracking his knuckles again, before he gripped the bars as best he could and pulled out of the long driveway.

He should have used his truck, but he hated driving that thing, it felt too cramped so he only used it when there was too much snow and ice on the ground during the Montana winters. But he had managed to almost fully make it into town before the combination of the rain and the vibrations of the motorcycle’s engine exacerbated the problems in his hands. It was too late by the time he realized what had happened, by that time he was already kissing the pavement. Not literally, but it sure as hell felt like it. And Cyrus must have passed out from the impact that had literally cracked his helmet, because when he awoke to the sound of an angel speaking, he was sure he’d died and gone to someplace that he knew damn well that he never would end up. He was barely lucid as he was being coaxed to a vehicle, one that creaked under his weight as he laid across the back seat.

When he awoke again, he was laying on top of some random bed, with no recollection on how he had even gotten here. His head throbbed, and his body ached. Still, he heard movement just outside the room, and the man was pissed that he woke up to find himself in a vulnerable spot. “Кто ты, черт возьми?” He growled out in pained frustration.
