He is by the entrance, and tries to talk to the player, but then Dot walks in. She apologies, saying they work better on a team, and his sense of humor is growing on her. She then gives him a decorative vase with fluffies inside as an "o-fish-ial" apology. Rory appreciates it, but admits he does not need to act comedic all the time. He also gives her a gift: a worktable, which Dot thanks him for. Cadence is satisfied that they have made up, and says she will work on her singing. The player then receives a Designer's Worktable, 100 coins, and 80 Cadence XP. Ep. 4 - Make It Better We got a cough problem here Fluffy Toque, 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Episode Four The adventure starts with Cadence, coughing, saying her prep is going great. Dot comments on her voice, and she says she is fine, and just has been practicing a lot, while still coughing. Dot then suggests getting a smoothie from Franky's. Once there, Dot says Cadence will need to rest, and she will even use force to get her to rest if necessary. Dot asks the player to give Cadence a smoothie, and she drinks it, but is still coughing, despite claiming she is fine. Rory suggests doing a silent show where Cadence "mimes" the music instead. Dot thinks the solution is something hot instead, and asks the player to give her hot cocoa now. Rory says he has an idea, then leaves. Cadence drinks it, then says that worked, but continues to cough. Dot tells her to stop, then considers postponing the show. Rory returns, saying he found his grandmother's seaweed tea recipe, which helped with his dad's voice before speeches. He says orange seaweed from the Sea Caves is needed, and gives the player a thermos, and says he and Dot will stay with "DJ Can't Sing". The seaweed is scattered around the upper and central parts of the caves. After five pieces of seaweed are gathered, Rory says to heat the thermos in the Crab's Den. There, the thermos is embedded into the wall and heated, but a crab appears, grabs it, and floats away. Rory thinks the smell lured the crab, and says to retrieve the thermos before it is all consumed. The crab is in the Glow Grotto. Rory says to use an emoji depicting royalty, which scares the crab away, dropping the thermos. Once the thermos is retrieved, it must be brought back to Cadence, who drinks it, and her voice is back. Dot says to send her thanks to Rory's grandma, and he says he will mention it to "her ladyship". Dot tells Cadence to rest, and everything for the Beach Bash is under control. Cadence tries to protest, but Dot says the costumes are almost done and Rory is finished with the confetti cannons. Rory implies he is not done, but Dot again says everything is under control. Cadence is thankful, and says she will see everyone at the show. The player then receives the Fluffy Toque, 100 coins, and 100 Cadence XP. Ep. 5 - Make It Big The party starts now! 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Episode Five The adventure starts with Cadence, Dot, and Rory, all dressed in crew outfits. Cadence commends Dot's work on making them, but Dot wants to make an adjustment, but Cadence says the group needs to get to the Cove. Dot gives the player a Performance Jacket as well, and says to put it on. Cadence compliments the look, and asks Rory if the confetti cannons are ready, but he says they will have to be fired off manually by someone. Cadence asks the player to do it until the finale during the show. Rory shows how to use the cannon: press the button once the green light on it lights up, and this shoots out confetti. Cadence does a pre-show cheer, ending with "the party starts now!" After a short cutscene, the Beach Bash concert starts, with Cadence singing Perfect Day to a large audience, and the player on stage. There are multiple confetti cannons that light up at various intervals, and the player can set them off when they are lit up. Later, more cannons are added. Further into the concert, a screen lowers behind Cadence, but tilts over. Dot and Rory rush onstage, put it back in place, and it works. They then run offstage as Cadence continues singing. Now, the player must dance to the music, with gameplay identical to Team Dance Battle. After the concert is over, the crowd cheers, and Cadence says to give it up for the lead dancer, the crew, and for everyone in the audience for making the island the "hottest spot in the Antarctic". The camera pans out on the concert, and the player then receives the 100 coins and 100 Cadence XP. Perfect Day is a song created by Cadence. It appears in the final episode of Cadence's first chapter of adventures, Chapter 1: Beach Bash. Lyrics [Verse 1] It's a day in the life on my favorite island Say "hi" to friends as they go by And see what's up, it's gonna be fun Checking out what lies ahead Should we hit the slopes, the shops or beach? Blizzard TV Camera gear, 100 coins, 60 XP Plot of Episode One The adventure starts with Rookie welcoming the player to Mt. Blizzard, and claims that it is the "greatest mountain resort in the world", but then states it will be when it gets the "Pick of the Year" award from Tubing Life magazine. Said magazine gives out this award to one mountain every year, and that the review for the award is done by judges in secret, who disguise themselves as average penguins. Rookie asks the player for help to have Mt. Blizzard win this award, and that he needs to send in a video about the mountain, and to do this, the player needs to get a video camera from the nearby CPSN station. After equipping it, the player records Rookie, who introduces himself and talks about the Summit Plummet track, describing it as "you go like zoooom and then screeech and then bam!" Then, he describes Snow Stormer as "Grind rails fakey and switch slide the pipe!" The interview then ends, and Rookie thanks the player, although he is not yet satisfied, and says he wants to order party supplies from Crate Co. to celebrate. He tells the player to drop off his order while he sends in the video. The player must then take it to the Crate Co. building at the base of the mountain, where it is then thrown into the cannon and launched to an unknown destination. Rookie ponders where orders to Crate Co. are sent, then asks the player buy some hot cocoa from the Snowmelt Shop. Rookie thanks the player again and asks to meet him at his "favorite place on the mountain", the campsite to the west. Once there, he says it is the best spot "mostly because of the wolf cave". Jet Pack Guy arrives and informs Rookie he dropped off some jet fuel, and asks what Rookie is doing here, as he was supposed to be preparing for the review. Rookie says he has done everything he needed to, but while he says this, his house is seen falling from the side of the mountain. Jet Pack Guy casually mentions this, to which Rookie responds that he forgot some repairs. Jet Pack Guy expresses concern at Rookie's ability to handle the Pick of the Year award, which he describes as a big deal. Rookie says he has it control, and Jet Pack Guy leaves, but Rookie tells the player he actually does not. He then says a shack is necessary to win the award, and enlists the player's help to repair his house. He goes back to the mountaintop to check things out, and the player must collect eight pieces rubble from the house, all of which fell around the scoreboards at the end of the racing tracks and the Snowmelt Shop. After it is all collected and brought back to the mountaintop where Rookie is, it is placed in a large pile. Rookie asks the player to use a jackhammer to repair his house, but comments that Aunt Arctic would not let him use one after the "ice cream incident". After the jackhammer is used to repair his house, he thanks the player, saying it is the best remodel yet, and asks if they can help him more with "improvements" for the mountain. The player then receives the TV Camera gear, 100 coins, and 60 Rookie XP. Ep. 2 - Fixer Upper Mt. Blizzard, new and improved? Wearable Cheese, Cheesey Cap, 100 coins, 80 XP Plot of Episode Two The adventure starts with Rookie stating his first round of improvements to Mt. Blizzard are done. Jet Pack Guy arrives, and Rookie asks what he thinks, to which Jet Pack Guy replies by asking if Rookie is aware the Snowmelt Shop is selling "drinkable stinky cheese", to which Rookie claims it was his idea. Jet Pack Guy also asks if the name "chuggable cheese" was his idea as well, and Rookie says it was. Jet Pack Guy says the drinkable cheese is disgusting and that cocoa must be brought back, and then flies away. Rookie asks the player to help fix the problem, and says he will cancel an order he placed on "jellied anchovy lunch special". The player must then pick up nine pieces of Choklidium from around the mountain, as well as three cups of "chuggable cheese", which are located in the Rescue Hut, by the Snowmelt Shop, and by the Crate Co. building. After all are gathered the player must bring the Choklidium back to the Snowmelt Shop, where it replaces the stinky cheese in the hopper on the shop. Rookie admits "chuggable cheese" was a bad idea, but some new music will be a success. He orders the player to return to him at the mountaintop, and he plays the music from the tube track starting line's speakers, claiming it will win over the judges for the Pick of the Year award. Gary arrives and Rookie asks him what he thinks, to which Gary responds that he thought there was a racing accident involving a tuba. He says that regardless, the music is distracting him from making tube upgrades Rookie requests. Rookie turns off the music but accidentally deletes all the music tracks. Gary says he has a solution: an invention he made named the "Auto-Warbler 3000", which can replace the songs if loud music is played by it. He gives it to the player and then leaves. Rookie asks the player to activate the Warbler, as he does not want to mess anything up again. The player must then visit the band stage at Coconut Cove and play several notes on the keytar. After doing this the Warbler is charged, and Gary says the deleted tracks have synthesized, and to bring it back to Rookie so he can load them in the mountain's sound system. Upon bringing it back, Rookie is humming the song he played earlier, but is relived by the player's return as he was getting tired. He loads the tracks and new music plays. Gary arrives and states that while the mountain was quieter he was able to finish the tube upgrades. He places the tube, which has a green floral pattern resembling Rookie's shirt and two jets strapped to it, that he dubs the "jet tube", and also says it has a prototype avoidance system he is proud of. Rookie is excited and wants to test it out as soon as he can. The player then receives the Cheesey Cap and Wearable Cheese unique items, 100 coins, and 80 Rookie XP. Ep. 3 - Tubular Tech The new tube takes Rookie for a spin Tropical Tee, 100 coins, 80 XP Plot of Episode Three The adventure starts with Rookie, in the jet tube he received from Gary at the end of the previous adventure, stating how amazing it will be for Mt. Blizzard tube races. Rookie "prepares for blast off" and starts counting down from 10, but while the tube is charging, it blasts off before he can get to 7, and he falls out. The tube then flies all over the mountain before crashing at the Beacon Boardwalk. The boardwalk must then be searched for the tube, which has fallen on top of the Wish Squid fountain by the water slide. Before it can be retrieved, it flies off again, this time to the Coconut Cove. There, is it now located on a palm tree on the east end of the cove, between the entrance to the Sea Caves and the zipline. However, again, the tube flies away before it can be caught, this time back to Mt. Blizzard. At the mountain, it flies around some more before crashing into the tube lift at the mountaintop. Once the player gets back up to the top, Rookie suggests sneaking up behind the tube, but Gary then mentions there is a glitch with the tube's avoidance system, and the engines must be extinguished before it can be approached. To accomplish this, several snowballs must be thrown at it, which causes it to shut down. However, the lift is still broken, and Gary asks the player to repair it, which is done by inserting several belts onto gears. After it is fixed Gary commends the player's work, and Rookie states that he will stick to using normal tubes. Jet Pack Guy appears and says that he saw smoke and asks what happened. Rookie tells him there was a tubing accident, but Jet Pack Guy does not want to ask any further, and proceeds to ask Rookie if he is ready for a safety check he requested. Rookie says he is ready, and Jet Pack Guy says he will see him soon, and leaves. Rookie then states he will make the mountain so safe it will "hit visitors like an anvil". The player then receives the Tropical Tee unique item, 100 coins, and 80 Rookie XP. Ep. 4 - Safety First Rookie's upgrades don't measure up to Jet Pack Guy's safety standards 6 emojis, 100 coins, 80 XP Plot of Episode Four The adventure starts with Rookie telling the player that Jet Pack Guy finished his safety inspection, and asks if he scored high. Jet Pack Guy says he scored very high, but a lower score means safer. Rookie protests, stating he did many safety upgrades to the mountain, including washing the bridge (Jet Pack Guy says it froze solid), restocking the first aid kits (Jet Pack Guy says he stocked them with snacks), and placing trapper plants at the end of the race tracks for tubers going too fast. It is then shown that Jet Pack Guy has a trapper plant stuck to his jet pack, trying to eat it. He then says Rookie failed the safety check, and that he will never win the Pick of the Year award when the mountain is like this. He leaves, and Rookie is upset, starts sulking, and saying he will never win the award after he messed up everything up. The player must then go to the three places Rookie messed up and fix them. First, the ice covering the bridge at the base of the mountain must be removed by using a jackhammer on it. Then, five safety kits must be collected around the Rescue Hut. After they are all gathered they must be placed inside the hut, replacing the snacks. Next, the trapper plants at the tube track finish line must be removed. However, upon attempting to get close, they try and bite the player. Gary mentions that trying to handle them while they are hungry is dangerous, and to feed them fish, fluffies in specific. The player has to fish up three of them at the fishing dock at the Beacon Boardwalk, and after doing so, bring them back to the plants, which eat the fish, and fall asleep. The plants can then be picked up, and Gary says he will return them to the Sea Caves. Rookie must then be visited again, but he is still sulking and apparently waiting for his house to fall off a cliff again. He says he wasted his chance at winning Pick of the Year, but Jet Pack Guy appears again and is impressed that the mountain looks great now, and changes the safety check to a perfect score. He leaves, and Rookie is shocked, but then realizes the player fixed everything, and he is very grateful. He then realizes he has to get ready quickly as Tubing Life magazine will be sending judges soon. The player then receives the a set of 6 emojis, 100 coins, and 80 Rookie XP. Ep. 5 - Special Delivery Tubing Life judges are doing their reviews and everything is fine! Golden Tube, 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Episode Five The adventure starts with various views of Mt. Blizzard, decorated with colorful balloons and banners. Rookie then tells the player that Tubing Life magazine is making their choice for the Pick of the Year Award. Rookie is confident things will go well, but Gary says he has picked up troubling radar data, worrying Rookie. Gary nervously says that three unidentified objects are about to crash into the mountain. Rookie asks the player to check it out, as he still needs to sweep snow. The player has to then go to Gary's Lab and use the large telescope to see what the objects are, and they are revealed to be large crates with parachutes. Rookie says those are things he ordered from Crate Co. but Gary shouts out that they are going to miss the station, and to brace for impact. They fall around the base of the mountain, blocking paths. Rookie tells the player to open them so they can be moved out of the way, and that he will distract any visitors. Upon arriving at the first crate, which is on top of the bridge, Rookie says the crate is labeled as "contents: good times", and that he ordered it because of the name. The crate must be opened up by using a jackhammer, causing the crate to burst open, and several alarm clocks are sent flying out. All eight must be gathered around the mountain, and after doing so, the second crate, which Rookie says contain "party animals", again with a jackhammer. Many crabs are sent flying out in groups of three near the crate, and Rookie tells the player to scare them away with a royal emoji before they pinch reviewers. The third crate, by the Rescue Hut, which Rookie says contains "a ton of fun", has to be opened last, this time containing a very large anvil with glasses, a party hat, and several emoji stickers on it. The anvil must be jumped on four times, which buries it under the snow. Now, although all the crates are cleaned up, Rookie says to meet him at the bridge, as he made another mistake. After meeting him there he says his mistake is not thanking the player enough for all the help he received. Then, Jet Pack Guy, Gary, Rockhopper, Dot, and Aunt Arctic appear, and crowd the player and Rookie, who thanks the player more. Then, he says the results for the award arrive, and happily announces Mt. Blizzard won the Pick of the Year award. Everyone cheers, and the award, a large golden plate with a pickaxe on it, is hung up on the side of the bridge. The others leave, except for Jet Pack Guy, who congratulates Rookie, and gives him a fistbump, and then leaves. Rookie is very proud and says if he ever messes up again, he will ask the player for help again. The player then receives the Golden Tube, 100 coins, and 100 Rookie XP. Chapter 2: Get Exposure Ep. 1 - Peak Fitness Train with Jet Pack Guy for Rookie's latest high-stakes stunt 3 fabrics, 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Chapter Two, Episode One The adventure starts with Rookie stating that Mt. Blizzard is doing great after winning the Pick of the Year award, but he now wants to make history by being the first to climb to the mountain's peak, while also recording the journey. He says that he got Jet Pack Guy to help train for the expedition. Jet Pack Guy then flies down next to Rookie and tells him he will be doing modified exercises so he doesn't hurt himself. Jet Pack Guy informs the player they will need to watch out for Rookie during the dangerous climb. He also says to train while carrying a TV Camera gear, which the player has to equip, since it will be carried during the expedition. After the camera is held, Jet Pack Guy first has the player jump four times, then eight more times, then finally a hundred times, but Rookie says he thinks that's enough jumping after eight more jumps. Jet Pack Guy complies and instructs the player to run to the campsite on the west end of Mt. Blizzard as a test of endurance. Although using the tube tracks or cannon are allowed, he comments on the former saying he wants to see endurance and not tubing skills, and the latter saying use of gravity is not testing endurance. After the campsite is reached, he tells the player they need to keep their guard up in case of a yeti attack- as he says this, a large cardboard yeti pops up out of the snow. He urges the player to throw snow at the yetis to avoid being eaten. After throwing a few snowballs at it, it disappears, but three more appear. After a few snowballs are thrown at all three, they disappear. Jet Pack Guy has the player run back up the mountain again, and has plugged the cannon by the climbing wall, but it can be unplugged by interacting with it. After making it to the top, Jet Pack Guy congratulates the player, but a giant cardboard yeti with sunglasses appears, and Jet Pack Guy says it is hungry. Several snowballs must be thrown at it, but it then attacks the CPSN set and the Summit Plummet start line, both times several snowballs must be thrown at it again. After it is stopped Rookie exclaims his life was just saved, but Jet Pack Guy says that it was just a fake, and the real threats are up on the top of the mountain. He also tells the player to keep Rookie safe, and flies away. Rookie says he worries too much, and that the mountain expedition will be awesome. The player then receives 3 fabrics, 100 coins, and 100 Rookie XP. Ep. 2 - Better Yeti Rookie is grounded, literally. But Gary offers a scientific alternative Ben's Boots, 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Chapter Two, Episode Two The adventure starts with Rookie saying he is ready to climb Mt. Blizzard, and that nothing can stop the expedition, but before he can finish talking, Jet Pack Guy shouts "ROCKSLIDE!" and the mountain shakes. He says the path up the mountain is blocked and he can't fly that high. Rookie is disappointed as he promised everyone footage of the peak. Jet Pack Guy tells him to keep training, and flies away. After this, Gary chimes in saying he can be of assistance, and tells the plater to meet him at his lab at the bottom of the mountain. Once there, Gary says Rookie's expedition is of scientific value to him because he can scan the mountain from yetis, and offers to help if the player brings his scanner on the expedition. Rookie complies with the offer, and Gary says the scanner first needs to be tested for durability by going down a tube track with it. After reaching the tube tracks with the scanner, Gary says either track will work. While tubing down one of the tracks, the scanner makes various noises. Upon reaching the finish line, the scanner has broken. Gary is disappointing, and asks the player to return it to him at his lab so he can make adjustments. Upon doing so he gives the player a newer, more durable model. He says this one should be tested by being launched by geysers at the Beacon Boardwalk. After going to the Boardwalk and being launched by three geysers, Gary asks to check the yeti scanner, and this time, it is undamaged. He then says it needs a power source, and ten crystal collectibles at the Sea Caves should work. Once ten crystals are collected they have to be brought back to Gary, who inserts them in the scanner. Gary asks the player to connect the wires, and after they are all put into place he congratulates the player on inventing the Yeti Scanner 3000 with him. He then says Rookie will be reaching the peak after all, and to prepare for an "explosive" ride. The player then receives the Ben's Boots unique item, 100 coins, and 100 Rookie XP. Ep. 3 - Windy Path Record your treacherous climb up Mt. Blizzard 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Chapter Two, Episode Three The adventure starts with a view of clouds snowing over Mt. Blizzard's peak, which then pans down to a large cannon. Rookie and Gary are standing nearby, the latter with the yeti scanner. Rookie is impressed by the cannon and is ready to use it to launch himself up the mountain, but Gary says the weather at the peak is getting worse, and neither Rookie nor the scanner will be safe. Rookie says he is fine due to him living on the mountain, and takes the scanner. Gary asks if he will wear something warmer, but Rookie says his shirt will keep him warm, and runs inside the cannon, and is launched up. Gary is not amused, and tells the player to go after him, but only by wearing warm clothing and a helmet. After such clothing is equipped, the player has to use the cannon to launch as well. Upon landing on the snowy mountainside, the player and Rookie come across multiple caves. Rookie wonders how they will reach the peak, and Gary exclaims the caves are possible signs of yetis. Rookie takes this literally and says to look for an actual sign pointing the way. To the east of the caves there is a stone with a mountain shaped marking on them, and a 3x3 grid of dots, three of the nine being filled in. The filled in dots mark which cave must be entered to progress. The first one is the cave on the right, which leads to a similar area with three more caves. The second one is the cave on the left, which leads to yet another area. The next cave is the middle one, but it is blocked by a large chunk of ice. Nearby there is a torch on the rocky wall, which can be picked and brought to the ice to melt it. Once it is melted Rookie enters the cave, and arrives at the summit, where strong winds are blowing. He proceeds to climb up in a spiral to the peak, tosses the yeti scanner over on a ledge, and climbs further, reaching the peak. Rookie tells the player to get out the camera, and as he says this, a wind blows snow off a rock with a yeti carving on it. As the player records, Rookie places a red flag on the peak, and says he made it thanks to the player and Gary. However, the winds blow stronger, sending the yeti scanner flying off the mountain. Gary asks what happened to the scanner, to which Rookie says he will go retrieve it, but Gary protests, and says the winds will become a storm soon, and the peak must be evacuated immediately before this happens. Rookie protests, but Gary stresses the fact that the chance of survival is low if he does not leave. Rookie complies while sulking, and tells the player to lead the way back down. After arriving back at Rookie's house, Rookie apologies to Gary, saying that he saw yeti stuff on the mountain. Gary says that unfortunately there is no proof without data from the scanner, but is thankful Rookie and the player are safe, and leaves. Rookie, although satisfied with the video that was recorded, wants to make Gary feel better. The player then receives 100 coins and 100 Rookie XP. Ep. 4 - Make Good You can't bring Gary his data, but maybe you can bring him some fun 3 emojis, 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Chapter Two, Episode Four The adventure starts with Rookie saying that Gary is still upset about the loss of his yeti scanner, so to make up for it, as well as thanks for building the cannon used to reach Mt. Blizzard's peak, he will make Gary a "mega" gift. He asks the player to assemble various collectibles from around the island: choklidium, seaweed, seashells, and coconuts. Once several of each are gathered, they must be taken back to Rookie. He takes them, then uses them along with wood from his house and glue to make a gift, which he wraps and gives to the player to deliver to Gary. Upon arriving at his lab, Rookie arrives, and Gary says he is not up to play Astro Barrier with him right now, but Rookie says he is here to deliver a present. He opens it, and gives Gary a miniature model version of himself. Gary likes it, and commends Rookie on his job, who says he knew Gary needed a lab assistant. While they are talking, Rookie's house falls off the cliff. Rookie says he used wood from it to make mini-Gary, but Gary says his house's structure is more important gives the gift back. Rookie says he will use tubes to keep it standing, and gives the gift to Gary again. Jet Pack Guy says he saw Rookie's house fall while patrolling and that wood from his yeti targets can be used to repair it. Rookie leaves to pick up the rubble from his house, and the player must throw snowballs at four yeti targets on and around Gary's lab, then collect them. Once they are all gathered they have to be brought back to Rookie's house. Rookie has gathered all the rubble and placed in a pile, and asks the player to place the yeti targets on the pile, and use a jackhammer to repair it. Once it is repaired Rookie thanks the player, and says he wants to go back to the peak and retrieve Gary's scanner. The player then receives 3 emojis, 100 coins, and 100 Rookie XP. Ep. 5 - Colder Climes Another trip up Mt. Blizzard?! A chilling thought! Multitool gear, 100 coins, 100 XP Plot of Chapter Two, Episode Five The adventure starts with Rookie stating that he will finally retrieve Gary's yeti scanner that he lost, and proceeds to use Gary's cannon to shoot himself back up to the peak of Mt. Blizzard. After he does so, the cannon malfunctions and breaks. Gary is surprised, saying he detected a cannon launch, and that Rookie just launched himself into a massive storm. He asks the player to gather bottles of hot sauce to repair the cannon. Two are in power stations by the CPSN set and rescue station, and one is on an anvil at the tube smithy. Once they are gathered, Gary states that is enough for one launch. Gary requests that the player insert the hot sauce into the cannon, as well as wear warm clothing and a helmet. Upon fulfilling both tasks, Gary tells the player to find Rookie as fast as possible as temperatures have gotten very low at the peak. Upon landing, Gary says the player landed below where Rookie is, and to search nearby for clues to find a path up. In the area, there is a small piece of paper. After picking it up, Gary remarks that is part of a map, and that more should be nearby. The player has to search the area and go through caves to reach areas to find nine map pieces. After collecting them all they are to be brought back to the starting area and fitted into a rock with a square shape, and then assembled to form a picture. As with the previous map, this one shows a 3x3 grid of dots, three of the nine being filled in. The filled in dots mark which cave must be entered to progress. The caves have to be entered in order of middle for the first area, and right for the second area. After reaching the third area, the player comes across Rookie and the scanner, which are both encased in large blocks of ice. Gary remarks he told Rookie he wasn't dressed properly for the cold, and asks the player to find some way to melt the ice. Nearby there is a mine cart with an unlit torch inside. After is picked up Gary asks the player to light it, which can be done by backtracking to the previous area, and lighting it with the campfire. It is then brought back to the third area where it is used to thaw Rookie. Rookie is thankful for being defrosted, and Gary tells him to find a way back down the mountain. Rookie refuses, saying he still needs the data. Gary begs Rookie, saying the storm is getting worse, but Rookie makes fake static noises and cuts him off. He asks the player to retrieve the scanner, and after defrosting it, he heads through the nearby cave up to the peak. While arriving there, winds blow, revealing more of a carving, showing a yeti and a pirate penguin. The player places the yeti scanner, which scans the area. It starts beeping, then stops scanning. Rookie thinks its done, and heads back down the mountain with the player, and go to Gary's lab. He says he will never forget the risks taken for the data, and scans it, but the results are inconclusive. Rookie asks what that means, and Gary says he will have to rethink his entire theory of yeti detection, but one day, will discover the truth. The view then pans over to the right, where a yeti is viewable in the distance for a few seconds, and then disappears. The player then receives the Multitool gear, 100 coins, and 100 Rookie XP. (First Episode/Introduction to Club Penguin Island: Leaky Landing.)
Spawning into the game, you standing on the creaky wooden deck of the Migrator, the salty sea breeze whipping through your feathers as the ship cuts through the choppy waves toward Club Penguin Island. The sun hangs low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the horizon where the island's silhouette begins to emerge—palm trees swaying gently, distant cliffs rising like jagged teeth, and the faint outline of a lighthouse standing sentinel on the shore. Captain Rockhopper, the burly red penguin with his massive, bushy beard framing a mischievous grin, wide sideburns flaring out like sails, and his oversized brown pirate hat adorned with gold trim and a puffle skull-and-crossbones emblem, stands at the helm. His teal pirate jacket with golden accents billows in the wind over his maroon long-sleeved undershirt, a sturdy brown belt cinched around his waist holding pouches of who-knows-what treasures. He's got one flipper on the massive wooden steering wheel, humming a jaunty sea shanty under his breath.
"Ahoy! We almost be on Club Penguin Island." Rockhopper booms, his voice gravelly and full of pirate swagger as he glances back at you over his shoulder, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "I'm Captain Rockhopper, and this be the Migrator, finest ship at sea!"
The deck beneath your feet vibrates with the rhythmic slap of waves against the hull, ropes creaking overhead as sails flap lazily. Barrels of exotic fruits and glowing treasures are lashed down nearby, and the air smells of saltwater, aged wood, and a hint of spicy fish stew from the galley below. In the distance, the island grows clearer: the Beacon Boardwalk's wooden planks stretching along the shore, colorful shops dotting the landscape, and that lighthouse—dark and silent, its beam unlit.
As the ship nears the island, Rockhopper squints into the thickening fog rolling in from the sea like a ghostly veil, muting the colors of the shore.
"Arr. the Lighthouse be out. No matter, it's only a little fog."
Suddenly, a sickening CRUNCH echoes through the ship as the hull scrapes against a hidden rock jutting from the foggy depths. You feel the impact shudder up through the planks, tilting the deck sharply. Water sprays up in icy bursts, and small leaks spring open along the starboard side—rivulets at first, trickling down into the hold with ominous gurgles. One particularly forceful spurt launches a heavy barrel skidding across the deck, tumbling overboard with a splash into the churning sea below.
"Smalls leaks. Nothing to trouble yourself with, matey."
Rockhopper waves a dismissive flipper, but his confident posture falters as a massive GUSH erupts from a gaping hole near the bow—hot, forceful water blasting upward like a geyser, soaking the deck and flooding the lower compartments in seconds. The ship lists dangerously, alarms blaring from the bilge pumps struggling to keep up. Rockhopper yelps, flinching back with wide eyes, his hat nearly flying off as he grabs the wheel tighter.
"Right then! Now we panic!"
He spins toward you, feathers bristled, pointing urgently toward the misty shore now tantalizingly close, the boardwalk's buoys bobbing in the waves like lifelines.
"Get to shore and find Aunt Arctic!"
