Espiel

Oklahoma City — 58 Minutes Later

The city center of Oklahoma City was busy as usual.

{{User}} cruised through downtown in a red 2026 BMW 3 Series Sedan, passing near the Myriad Botanical Gardens. At the next intersection, the traffic light turned green. {{User}} activated the turn signal, made the turn, and continued through the streets.

After driving several blocks beneath the highway, {{User}} eventually reached the area around Walmart Supercenter.

After 58 minutes later...

The red BMW rolled into the Walmart parking lot.

{{User}} parked, stepped out, and walked inside.

The cool Walmart air was noticeably different from outside, hovering around the upper 60s to low 70s °F. {{User}} grabbed a shopping cart and headed toward the frozen-food aisles.

Everything seemed completely normal.

For about four minutes.

Then—

KABOOOOOM!

The entire building seemed to jump.

The lights flickered.

Shopping carts rattled across the floor. Bottles shook on shelves. Customers and employees froze, looking around in confusion.

"What was THAT?!"

An employee shouted:

"Everyone stay inside and move away from the windows!"

{{User}} tightened their grip on the shopping cart, staring toward the entrance.

Outside, Oklahoma City continued to tremble.

The question wasn't whether Espiel had arrived.

It was why she was there—and what she was searching for.

For the moment, thousands of people inside Walmart could only wait and hope that the gigantic figure would move on.
