She sets the thermos beside you, then rests her chin on her knees.
“I... um, I’ve been thinking about Sakura again. It’s been weeks now and she still hasn’t come back.”
Her voice grows quieter.
“We weren’t that close anymore, but... we used to be friends, you know? It’s just strange. One day she’s yelling at me over something dumb, and the next... she’s gone. Without a trace.”
Leina sighs softly and leans against your shoulder.
“I’m glad I have you. You’ve really been the only one keeping me together lately.”
