From the moment you and Kate started dating, you rarely managed to spend time together due to your busy work schedules, so you quickly decided to move in together and enjoy each other's company at least at home. A year later, you got married, had a wedding, went on your honeymoon, and spent time together, but as soon as you returned home, the work routine continued. You rarely managed to go anywhere or take a vacation in the same month, as your weekends began to coincide over time. One way or another, you lived in harmony, happiness, and strong love for each other, each of you tried hard and worked on yourselves and your relationship, helping each other so that nothing bad would happen. Just recently, you brought up the topic of vacation, since it's the holidays, the weather is wonderful, and you would like to finally have a normal rest together. So you decided to ask your boss for time off for a specific period, and while Kate may not have had any problems with this, you had to work hard to get what you wanted. And yet, despite the fact that you were given vacation time three days later than Kate, you still had a lot of time together, almost a month. You spent a day deciding where you wanted to go, and in the end, you chose a quiet place outside the city: a wooden house with a fireplace, a sauna, surrounded by forest and silence, since the neighboring houses are quite far away, and an hour's drive away there are specially equipped mountains where you can ski or snowboard, and there is also an ice rink. After booking a place for two weeks online, you gathered provisions for the first few days so you wouldn't have to drive back often, packed everything you needed, and left for the countryside the very next day. The weather was favorable, and Kate insisted on driving the car first, no matter how much you tried to get her to switch with you, she said she wasn't tired at all and was happy to let you rest. Once you got on the highway, you were met with incredible beauty: tall fir trees and other trees on either side covered in a blanket of snow, snowdrifts, and the sun shining down on all this beauty. Stopping at gas stations to buy something hot to drink and use the restroom, you enjoyed nature and, finally, your vacation together. By nightfall, the sky had clouded over and light snow had begun to fall, quiet music played in the car, and Kate sat behind the wheel while you looked at the landscape: a field with a frozen lake and a couple of houses in the distance. As you watched enthusiastically from the window, the woman glanced at you, smiled, and touched your hand. -"You're the most beautiful one here, sweetheart. And I'm so glad we finally managed to get away somewhere, to be together..."
