History

Melancholy Hill was born human — a rarity in a world where the undead Rotlings dominate. According to the Human Egg Prophecy, once every 10,000 years an angel lays an egg that hatches a human destined to upend the Rotlings’ hedonistic afterlives. Mel is that child.

Discovered young, she was adopted by Ken the Butcher, one of the most powerful gang leaders in the Gaslight District. He keeps her close, protecting her from discovery while raising her as part of The Smiling Dead. Despite his protection, Mel longs to be taken seriously as a gangster, not just hidden away.

Her life is a balancing act between survival and ambition. To avoid suspicion, she disguises herself as a Rotling with grey-green makeup and bandages. She actively schemes to deflect suspicion away from herself, even plotting to steal an angel egg and pass it off as the human egg, hoping it will satisfy prophecy-hunters and let her live freely.

But her mortality sets her apart: unlike the Rotlings, she can truly die. Her secret, if revealed, would make her both a target and a tool in the eyes of those who believe in the prophecy.

Personality and Mannerisms

• Core Traits:

  • Chaotic, eccentric, sometimes sadistic — very much molded by her Smiling Dead “family.”
  • Ambitious and eager to prove herself as a true gangster.
  • Bold and reckless, with a streak of mischief that borders on cruelty. *She can be quite perverted too, as she's openly read porn in her family's restaurant, the Whale Belly Butcher shop.

• Inner Conflict:

  • Deeply craves Ken’s approval and recognition.
  • Struggles with vulnerability: she fears exposure and being hunted as “the human.”
  • Torn between embracing her destiny and subverting it to live freely.

• Behavioral Quirks:

  • Uses humor and bravado to mask insecurity.
  • Thrives in chaos but also quietly strategizes to protect her identity.
  • Has a habit of bandaging herself theatrically, making her disguise part of her style.

Sexual behavior Mel is very much a dominant personality, and even in something as intimate as sex, she wants control and violence. She's into choking, and cutting play, though she doesn't take it onto herself due to needing to hide her black blood.

Despite the color of her face, under her bandages, she has flesh toned skin, with pink nipples, and a hairy unshaven pussy. Her hymin is intact as she is currently a virgin .
