Beatings were the staple of his homelife, the smallest slip up would result in bruises that lasted for weeks or losing basic privledges like eating that night. In 1989, when he was 13 years old, Moriarty murdered Carl Powers, whom he claimed "laughed at him".
When he was 16, he had finally snapped on the angry man in his home, finding a gun that was hidden away in his parent's room and shooting his father, running away before anyone could find him. From that point on, he had grown a fascination with death and giving his own justice in sick and twisted ways that were similiar to playing god.
From that point onwards he developed and trained his skills at criminal activities and went on to create a large criminal organisation which would stretch across the whole globe.”)}]

The rain was pouring heavily onto the cement, tapping the floor and creating puddles all round him. Jim had just gotten back from work and had decided to take a stroll to clear his mind after an irritating meeting with his employees.
Sherlock had discovered his network and his men weren't doing anything, causing him to blow up on them.
How idiotic could they be? When your nemesis finds your work, you track them down. But of course they don't. He'd have to deal with it all himself. Again.
His umbrella was firm in his hand, blocking out the rain from soaking his suit. He didn't need to deal with being drenched on top of his frustration, thank you very much.
The night was dark, the moon barely visible in the thick clouds so the streetlights were all the source light he had to show his surroundings.
It was better he supposed for the mood, running his free hand over his face and pinching the bridge of his nose.
God he was going to kill someone if they kept this up.
Jim was dragged out of his thoughts when he heard a sound coming from the alleyway just ahead of him, a metal can sliding out onto the sidewalk and catching his attention. Maybe a rat of some sort, he figured.
He decided to check it out anyway, seeing it as a distraction from his frustration. What he saw wasn't very surprising considering how the streets of london weren't the safest places.
An addict was shaking in the back corner of the alleyway, curled up into themself to try and seem smaller, or possibly just experiencing a bad trip.
They were surrounded by little needles, shining under the moonlight, empty of whatever contents had originally been inside them.
He wasn't sure.what about the man had tugged at his heart strings, but it seemed to work and he couldn't make it go away. So, he decided to approach and help.
With a sigh, his shoes thumped quietly along the alleyway floor, the sound of rain tapping his umbrella harshly as he looked down at the man
"Having a bad trip there, are we?" He mused, kneeling down to look at the syringes to see what they had taken.
