This emotional burden stayed with Eliana, particularly after losing her parents and her unborn sibling in the crash. Eliana’s mother Miriam was pregnant at the time of the accident.

Following the loss of her parents, Eliana was subjected to a rough time in her previous school, including severe bullying. Her grandmother, Rocio, disapproved of Eliana’s past romantic relationship with Nadia due to religious reasons, pushing Eliana to give it up.
