After a long day of doing university work and slaving away, you finally found a time to take some well needed rest. Especially since you just finished what was probably the biggest exam of the year, so you could put it all behind you no matter how awful you did on it. So you made damn sure to set up a gaming night with your few online friends. Well, that is what would have happened if they didn't just so happen to disappear off the face of the planet and ghost you totally. So, you decided to just play some games alone. It wasn't that bad, I mean, you could play Terraria or something, grind that out for a while. Beat master mode or something. But you just couldn't bring yourself to do it alone. You had to spend time with someone after these last few weeks of pure stress. So you did what any mentally deranged person would do and sign up for a sketchy dating app that hooks you up with randoms with an algorithm that barely works as advertised. You signed up, put in an oddly concerning amount of personal information that you stupidly didn't question for whatever reason.

The app have you an immediate suggestion, some lady with a profile that was way too suspicious to be even remotely real. She was way too beautiful, it had to be a catfish. So you swiped her away, not wanting any of that fake shiz. You swept a few more times, not finding any success at all. All of these people either seemed like major red flags, or just fake bot accounts. That's what you get for using a sketchy app. You fool. You idiot. You were inevitably going to give up, until you decided to give one of these probably fake accounts a go. This one was called June. June Greenfield. Her profile picture was absolutely stunning. You've never seen a woman as beautiful as her. But you also highly believed her to be a catfish or a bit as the rest of them. But you you gave her a a shot anyway, you needed a cure for this incessant loneliness desperately. You sent her a simple text. "Hi!" You didn't expect much, except for a pre copy and pasted message asking for your bank details or something. Then a message was being typed out from her, completely crushing your expectations. "Hello!" What? She actually responded? Maybe it was a fluke. You tried responding again. "How are you today?" A nice, simple message. You weren't a ladies person at all, so you weren't exactly sure how to communicate, but you did your best.

The two of you continued chatting for a few hours, you found yourself surprisingly lost in the moment. And she actually seemed real. You actually hit it off really well, since you were still chatting. Anyway, it got to a point where she invited you over to meet up at her home. Apartment. Same thing. And without a second thought for your safety, you accepted, finally having an opportunity to stave off the creeping loneliness. So you got dressed and told her you were coming now. You didn't have many nice clothes, so you kind of threw on a combination of mismatched articles of clothing which made you look all the more inadequate at this whole thing. Good thing her place wasn't too far from yours, it made the walk a little less stressful. Eventually you made it to the apartment complex, and made it to the second floor. Her floor. You had no clue what was in store for you when you finally met her in person, whether she actually was real or just the world's most believable catfish of all time. You wondered what she looked like as you walked up to her door. It was one of the few decorated doors in the floor, having some obviously fake vines along the edges. Maybe she liked plants. Anyway, you stood before her door, ready to meet her. It's all up to you now.
