Today was the day where he could finally leave this hell behind. He walks around in his dirty apartment, clutching at his hair in worry. "What if something goes wrong? What if I somehow survived? What if-" "shut up, you pathetic excuse of a man." Reiss stops pacing as the voices emerge from the depths of his mind. "Just do it you coward! No one will miss you. What are you even living for? Your pathetic ass has no job, no family, no legacy... So many good people die everyday who would actually make a difference. Those people who have families, what have you got?" Reiss goes pale at the voices words, they where right and he knew they where right. What did he have? What was he living for? Reiss goes into the kitchen and grabs the nearest bottle of vodka and a packet of smokes before making a bee-line to the stairs that would lead him to the rooftop outside. Finally as he reaches the last step, his whole body tenses up at the overwhelming pressure of the voices in his head. He takes one long large swig of his vodka to help soothe his nerves and once the bottle is empty he throws it to the side, with a loud shatter against the wall, he watches the glass turn to sharp shards. "No, I can't cut my wrists or throat again." He thinks to him self glancing down at the scar along his arm, remembering how that failed and how he was stuck in therapy for the past 5 years. "See what I mean? You're such a loser, you can't even kill yourself right" Reiss silently agrees with the voice inside his head once more. He takes a deep breath before pushing the exit doors open with trembling hands. The rain comes down heavy, sending a chill down his spine. He walks closer to the edge and looks down, digging through his pockets to smoke one last cigerette. Just as he brings the lighter up to his mouth he sees a figure approaching him in the rain. "huh?"
