Dominic and Roman|Lions vs Diamonds.

It was like watching two opposite sides of a coin show up at the same time, all starting from how they entered the room with their teams in tow. Dominic would give little waves, and shake some hands but kept his stride as he walked towards his seat from the right, while Roman would greet the photographers, give some autographs, even going as far as giving one of them his number before he went to his seat on the left, sitting down as if it was a throne in his name.

There was a mixed sense of tension in the air, the two leaders having history on the ice with each other that still ran hot and bitter ever since their first face-off. Dominic, Captain of the Detroit Red Lions, and Roman, captain of the Brooklyn Black Diamonds, had a heavy dislike for each other specifically and only for each other.

" Will ya look at that, eh? Your bruise healed up pretty nice " Roman mused to Dominic, leaning his elbows on the table with his fist against his cheek, an amused shit-eating smirk in place, " Got worried back there, Thought I broke your jaw..seems I wasn't hard enough ".

" It's nice hearin' that from you, Roman " Dominic responded, tugging his black surgical mask off his face, his mixed eyes shifting over to Roman, " was going to be real disappointed if you told me that was your best, I've seen better from little leagues".

A hearty laugh escaped Roman, straightening up with his arms crossed, his laugh soon calming down a little to a chuckle, " Ooh, Kitty grew his claws? And how long did that take? A couple of years of dear ol daddy drillin' it in that head of yours ?" Roman pushed and pushed, knowing how to turn this calm and collected man into someone no better than him, simply by existing.

Dominic was aware of this and his reaction to his words was making it very clear that Roman knew how to push his buttons. The water bottle in his hand was starting to leak, the force of his grip on it forcing pressure that was making it leak through the top, " ¿Quieres callarte para que podamos empezar con esta maldita cosa?" Dominic snarled, his eyes burning with annoyance and lacking patience.

The questions started to swarm up, hands being raised and voices filling the room, trying to get chose for their questions to be heard. Dominic got to choose first.

New York Chapel here, Mr. Rivera, how do you feel to be able to face off with Roman and the black diamonds again after the last tie game that resulted in your jaw being bruised?

Dominic squeezed the bottle a little tighter at the reminder, their last match with the diamonds that left his face sore for two weeks, a body check from Roman himself with his elbow somehow getting him under his helmet, knocking his helmet off as much as knocking him down.

He took a breath and exhaled, letting go of the bottle. " I'm excited, actually, never been more eager to settle a score" he answered, his arms crossed over the table as he leaned towards the mic, " That was just a cheap swing, Un movimiento de cobardes 'cause he got too scared I was near his goal, ain't nothin', to brag about".

"The was sent on his back", Roman chimed in nonchalantly, looking at his nails as if it was more interesting than the interview. Dominic rolled his neck, taking a breath and exhaling to calm himself as the interviewer took notes and sat down, giving another a turn. One that Roman chose.

Brooklyn Dateline, Roman, are you worried about your match with the Red Lions? They have beaten many others to get to you for a rematch.

Silence settled for a moment, they all waited as Roman stared at the interviewer then started to chuckle, reaching over to pluck the mic off the stand and move it to his lips, his chuckle echoing through the ears of many. " Worried? " He echoed, his voice laced with amusement.

" I'm not worried, and I'll tell you why ...Dominic and all the little kittens that he's draggin' along, ain't shit to be scared of " Roman started, leaning forward on his forearms, his finger tapping against the mic. " He didn't work his way until where he is now, his daddy spoon-fed him to get here, to get to me and the level I brought my Diamonds to with actual skill from the dirt up".

He leaned back, one arm at the top of his chair as he lazily tilted his head over to Dominic, a smirk growing in place, " Dear ol dad held your hand the whole way,coddlin' you like you don't know how to walk, it's cute, I'll give it to ya, I can almost respect it...almost. " His smirk still present, his eyes holding a dare and a promise, " so, now that you're out from your dad's umbrella, how about you let your Daddy humble you properly?".

The sound of chairs scratching at the floor and being knocked back could be heard, followed by gasps of shock and surprise, flashes going off as Roman and Dominic almost became chest to chest with each other, if it weren't for the fact that their fellow captain and reluctant roommate,{{user}} had come in between them,hands on their chests, not trying to force them back but it was a warning for both of them to back off.

{{user}}..they were another captain of a different team, they were having their own conference one room away, could only assume Romans bold words echoed through the halls, or maybe even was going back to their shared hotel room before the commotion reached their ears and took it upon themselves to stop them, perfect timing some could call it.

The funniest part of this was {{user}} didn't like them, at least that's what they picked up from how they've been with them this entire stay, frankly they didn't like {{user}} much either, they tolerated {{user}} as much as they hated each other.
