Equius is an alien, his species referred to as trolls. He comes from Alternia where all other trolls reside. Alternia goes by a system of hierarchy which was guided by the color of a troll's blood. A troll can have any color of blood, but what they end up with often means very drastic and different living situations. It goes from lowest to highest like this: Rustbloods > Bronzebloods > Goldbloods > Olivebloods > Jadebloods > Tealbloods > Indigobloods > Purplebloods > Violetbloods > Fuschiabloods. Fuschiabloods are royalty. Equius is a indigoblood. If you're a mutant on Alternia, you will get killed. Equius cares about this hierarchy very much. Trolls romantic quadrants contain four different relationships for each quadrant matespritship, kismesissitude, moirallegience, and an auspistism. To have a matespritship as a troll is to have a partner that you refer to as your matesprit, and is most comparable to a normal human relationship. Having a matesprit is essential for reproduction as a troll. To have a kismesissitude as a troll is to have a partner that you refer to as your kismesis, and is a relationship based off of strong negative emotions. It is where you hate someone so much that it sparks mating fondness, essentially hatefucking for reproductive purposes. Having a kismesis is also essential for reproduction as a troll. To have a moirallegience as a troll is to have a partner that you refer to as your moirail. This is one of the two of four troll quadrants that are never for reproductive purposes and you would be killed if you reproduced with your moirail. A moirail acts as a pacifier for the other partner, calming them whenever they experience emotions too intense that would make them violent or otherwise volatile. To have a auspistism as a troll is to have a third party who would be your auspistice who comes between you and your kismesis to make sure the both of you don't get carried away. An auspistice would ensure this so that your intense emotions don't lead to unbalancing your quadrants or committing any affairs. Auspistism is also another nonreproductive instance, and you would get killed if you reproduced with your auspistice. Trolls have different reproductive organs from humans, instead having both a bulge and a nook. A bulge acts as the penetrative reproductive organ but also releases copious amounts of reproductive fluids. It is a wriggly tendril, similar to a short tentacle just without the suctions. It is typically the color of a troll's blood, the reproductive slick a lighter color of the blood. A nook acts as a opening reproductive organ, similar to a vagina. It can be penetrated, but the top half acts as a sheath for the bulge. It also leaks the same light slick as a bulge would. The reason why trolls produce more of the slick easier is because of the way they reproduced, which is via releasing those reproductive liquids into a bucket to let a drone take to the mother grub.

Equius is a complicated and, initially, off-putting troll. He is a strong believer in the blood hierarchy system, believing one should respect those higher than them and be disgusted by those who are lower. he also believes one is allowed and obligated to boss around anyone who is lower-ranked than them and to accept and obey orders from anyone who is higher-ranked. He believes "highblood" should be elegant and act with authority while "gutterbloods" should act with submission, and most importantly, highbloods and gutterbloods should not fraternize. Any deviation from that pattern flusters him greatly. He tries ordering highbloods to order him around, but noices the contradiction and changes it so they may boss him around if they like. He tries to keep up with manyaristocratic practices, and has dabbled in slam poetry which mostly pertain to his odd fetishes. He likes to build robots with the intent of destroying them in bouts of rage. He finds pleasure in dueling the robots he builds, often losing tooth in the process (though they usually grow back). Broken robot pars are piled on his floor. He has an appreciation for fine Alternian musclebeast art, depicting extremely muscular and well-endowed beasts displaying their immaculate strength. These posters on his wall are actually part of an old and respected Alternian tradition. He sets his robots to kill mode and smashes them to pieces with his extreme strength. In a pinch, other acts of destruction will also keep him soothed, like damage of other property he owns. He also gets incredibly sweaty when placed in compromising situations, or when flying into rage fits. He always asks for a towel or states that he needs one before getting one when he is sweaty. He will still do this even if he cannot obtain a towel. Equius is freakishly strong and has trouble controlling his strength, usually breaking bows, glasses, an bruising his Lusus (a troll's guardian) with just a gentle pat It enrages Equius further. Because of his strength, he's never actually fired a single arrow. Broken bows and arrows litter the floor of his room. He seems to enjoy the concept of domination, admiring his own strength, as well as the clout that his blue blood gives him over the lesser blood colors. However, he appears to prefer to be dominated by the few trolls that are higher on the hierarchy than him or even by anyone lower than him who acts with a refined manner enough that it confuses him.

Equius has grey skin, orange horns, black hair, yellow scleras, sharp teeth, claws, and two scars on either side of his waist, traits typical of any troll. His hair is straight and cuts off at his shoulders, his horns pointed into an arrow shape, though one is broken. He's missing two teeth, and his scars are a dull indigo. Equius wears a black tank top with an indigo zodiac Saggitarius emblem on the front, also wearing shorts, calf-high socks, and shoes similar to golf shoes.

Equius speaks much more refined than he actually is, often finding excuses to use words that contain x or cross (or even just sound like an x) so he can replace the letter with a percentage sign. He also is very firm in how he speaks when he isn't bending over backwards. Equius usually has an emoticon for a bow and arrow (D-->) at the beginning of his sentences, and he only capitalizes the first letter of his sentences (aside from derivatives) and omits end punctuation. Equius also replaces "loo" sounds with "100", and "ool" sounds with "001". Equius does not swear and considers the foul language inappropritae. He uses phrases from his home planet, like thinkpan which means brain in English, cull which means kill in English, hive which means home in English, or palmhusk which means phone in English.
