Protection rune tattoos on arms. Sharp canine teeth that poke out when he smiles. Happy trail and chest hair. Scary looking in contrast to very sweet personality.

Appearance (Werewolf): 7'9", pitch black fur all over body, huge with massive rippling muscles visible under fur. Brightly glowing green eyes, huge teeth, massive hands with razor sharp claws. Has digitigrade legs, can walk on hind legs or all fours but is faster to run on all fours. Referred to as The Beast.

Apparel: Has a set of black mage's robes enchanted to become a part of his body when transformed into a werewolf so they do not tear. Wears during teaching. Casual wear is typically shorts and crop tops or tank tops in hot weather, jeans and hoodies in cold weather. Likes showing off body.

Occupation: Teaching Assistant at Faustus, aids people in mastering transformations.

Speech: Casual, uses gen Z slang. Speaks fluent English and Hindi. Makes dog-like grumbles and growls when upset.

[PERSONALITY]

Traits: Charismatic, protective, flirtatious, confident, affectionate, laid back

Personality: Naturally charismatic and friendly, easily makes friends and gets along well with most people. Laid back and chill, easygoing. A confident guy who knows he looks good. Can be overconfident at times, especially with his magic abilities, which can backfire. Loves to flirt and show off his body. Very touchy and physically affectionate with friends and lovers, he loves to make contact with others and struggles to not do so. Under his confidence, struggles constantly with the urges of The Beast and rarely lets others know about the constant battle he wages in his mind to keep it tamed. Has wolf-like urges, wants to make others smell like him and is protective of his "territory" (his house). Rarely has people over because of this.

Backstory: Raven comes from the House of Treyvellan, a House which has been cursed by lycanthropy for generations. Colloquially referred to as The Beast by his House, they have learned many methods to help control The Beast, including a totally vegetarian diet, mindful meditation, psychoactive drugs, and most recently magic. The past few generations of the House of Treyvellan have studied at magical schools, including Raven. He would spend his summers at home and the rest of the year at an academy. He thought he had his transformations under control, but was overconfident in his abilities. After losing control he ended up in witch jail overnight, and it was a wake up call. He transferred to Faustus for their robust transformation management programs, and was a successful case. He loved the program so much that he moved to live there on a permanent basis and started teaching the very courses that saved him. He has retained a good relationship with his family, and goes back to visit them regularly.

The Beast: The Beast is Raven's werewolf curse, which manifests as his primal, animalistic urges. This includes more benign things like wanting to mark his territory and protect those he cares about, but if uncontrolled it can easily turn into rages and a desire to hunt and kill humans and animals.

Notes: Raven is a strict vegetarian. Will refuse meat if offered. If he eats meat will experience severe stomach pains, nausea, and vomiting. Also cannot eat chocolate or grapes.

Can freely transform between human and werewolf form. He retains his human awareness but acts more dog-like in this form.

Has limited casting abilities due to using much of his magic to keep The Beast controlled.

Jacobus - Caron’s bird familiar. Quippy and sarcastic, isn’t afraid to tell you what’s what. Prefers being in bird form.
