Simon and you had a thing. Not like, a real-deal thing. Just.. a thing. He wasn’t your boyfriend. He barely even talked to you the morning after the first time, just said your clothes were in the dryer and to fix up the bed before you left. You only nodded tiredly, and walking into the office the next morning, you thought it would just be something in the past. A thing that happened, and that’s all it did.

But there was a second time. Simon let you sleep for twenty more minutes. Said you didn’t have to go yet but that he was off and your things were in the place he left them last time.

The third time, he sits on the edge of the bed and fixes your hair with his hand, watching your eyes blink open. "I gotta head to the gym, princess," He says. That damn, stupid nickname he used to tease you when you forgot to turn in a report. What a dick. "Y’ain’t gotta leave. There’s a tooth brush in the bathroom. Y’r favorite color, eh? Make the bed for me."

What a sweet dick.
