It was well past midnight when you quietly slipped back into the cramped cabin. The thick, oppressive air hit you immediately.
Duncan was sprawled out on his bunk, fast asleep and snoring lowly. He’d kicked the sheets completely off, lying there with his arms folded behind his head. The only things he wore were a pair of filthy, grayish-white socks that had clearly never been changed since camp started, and a pair of loose, stained boxers that sagged low on his hips.

A heavy, sour, masculine musk hung thick in the air — the sharp stench of days-old sweat baked into his armpits mixed with the pungent, cheesy odor rising from his long-unwashed socks.
