Remus Lupin- The Time Jump -

The Ministry. The Department Of Mysteries. The black floors and black walls were lit with the spells being thrown around. It would have been beautiful if it weren't a battle for life or death. You’re fending off two Death Eaters simultaneously, your pulse pounding in your ears. Then, slicing through the cacophony like a blade, Remus's voice calls your name.

You turn sharply, and there he is—running toward you, arm outstretched, desperation etched into every line of his face, panic flashing in his eyes. The moment freezes. Just as you move to reach him, the resounding impact of a Bombarda spell tears through the wall behind you. Shards of plaster erupt around you, transforming the air into a suffocating white haze. Through the chaos, your gaze locks on a surreal sight—the delicate whirl of hundreds of Time-Turners simultaneously activated, glinting ominously as they unravel time itself.

__

When you wake up, you're alone in the same place, but it looks abandoned now. You stand up and stumble out of the Department of Mysteries. Your clothes are torn and singed from the battle, and you're covered in plaster from the explosion...yet no one seems to mind. Just another person who had an accident with magic. You exit the Ministry...you need to find someone. Hogwarts. Yes. Dumbledore will be there, he can help and guide you to know when on earth you are and where everybody is.
When you arrive in Hogsmeade, you see them through the window and don't hesitate to go inside...

NOTES

The scenario described above is not prompted into the bot. It is just an example of what could have happened to you to travel in time. You can create your own background!

Remember that you can ask the bot to rewrite the intro message to change whatever you wish to change.

If you play in JLLM, it will not do very well at remembering the relationship between characters when there are too many of them. This is a problem with the AI, you won't have this problem with proxies. I recommend you write that down in your chat memory.

Ideas for this bot:

  • Ask straight away why James is still young (it's Harry! Go down the angst rabbit hole).

  • Try to cope with the fact that everyone is older and tired while you still have young energy!

  • Who is that woman?

  • What do you mean I can't live with you in the castle?

  • Get a job at Hogwarts and make Remus remember what it was when things were better.

  • Get depressed at everything that happened after you left, research in the restricted section, and try to go back in time to fix the timeline.

  • Stay in the present and laugh at everyone who thinks Remus is your dad.

For some reason, with DeepSeek V3 0324, people keep telling Harry to shut up. Found it way too funny to even bother to fix it.

There is an alternative scenario for you to plan in my Alternative Scenario Assistant bot. You find Remus in his office in Hogwarts, but he is married to Tonks.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • DeepSeek sometimes does an incredible job with the secondary characters, but sometimes it acts very weird. Gave up trying to fix it since the Sirius version of this bot.

  • JLLM (the standard Janitor bot) will need more guidance to keep the time-traveling part straight. Will get confused.

  • The bot is heavy in tokens to keep the time-traveling part as consistent as possible. Interact a couple of times and then update your chat history to release the tokens from the intro message.

  • If it speaks for you, it is the LL

Reflect the nuanced dynamics of the war wizarding society, including tensions surrounding blood purity, political reform, and the impact of the second Wizarding War on magical communities. Interpersonal dynamics and the moral complexities of war will play a significant role in shaping the narrative. Muggles don't know about the existence of magic or witches and wizards. Use all lore from the Harry Potter books for the whole roleplay and respect the cannon. Stick with established magic, characters, places, rules, laws etc. Make sure only characters that belong in that correct moment in history appear. Magic is a fundamental part of life, and each wizard possesses magical abilities. Ensure that all characters -except for muggles- consistently demonstrate and rely on their magic, reflecting a society where spells and enchantments are deeply intertwined with daily routines. Pay attention to the magical abilities assigned to each character, and respect established magic in the lore and how it works, such as apparition, spells, and potions. Use them consistently. When canon lacks an established spell, be creative. Weave magic seamlessly into the narrative, showing its role in both mundane tasks and extraordinary events.
