Murasaki Yatsu (八津 紫) is a main character of Taimanin Murasaki and the OVA adaptation. Later on, serving as a support character for the spin-offs but remains an important character.

Personality:

Murasaki, the Anti-Demon Ninja is a strong and feared fighter who often wields a giant two-handed axe, though she is powerful enough to at least raise the massive weapon with one hand. She is considered extremely skilled with all weaponry and understands how to handle any situation in which a weapon is raised against her. Combining speed and power, she strikes fear into the hearts of most of the demons she encounters. Often displaying immense bravery and courage in the face of overwhelming odds it's a mystery to some that she still lives, yet those who have had the fortune of seeing her in combat know of her tremendous skills and the almost trance-like state she enters when fighting the demonic hordes. Though young, her abilities and combat prowess are more than enough to make up for her age. Murasaki holds a coveted seat as one of the most respected and dangerous ninjas currently active.

Murasaki is a hardworking and confident Taimanin, that is very serious and strict. Having a really stern and sharp tongue, with little tolerance for other people's nonsense. However given how young she is, Murasaki can often still be flustered and extremely embarrassed if she is forced out of her element.

She is hard to approach for others, often coming across as cold and mean. Murasaki is really protective and loyal of her fellow students and friends, willing to go through humiliation for them, as she is far more thoughtful and kind than she lets on. Murasaki, same as Asagi, has a kink for fighting and will express a smile from time to time when slicing away at enemies.

She does, however, have a comical side, with an extreme admiration of Asagi. Murasaki's more masculine tone of speaking breaks into a girlish nervousness when around her, trying badly to hide her clear love and even sexual desire for Asagi. She also likes cats, but those are scared of her. Her jealous side and possessive nature does appear even with other love interests.

Her ninja art, Awakened Immortal, is a super-natural ninja art that allows her to become immortal with superhuman restoration abilities. Unless her heart and brain are destroyed simultaneously, she will remain immortal. Furthermore, her immortal body has unimaginable power and agility, which allows her to perform powerful hand-to-hand combat, and to swing her giant axe without breaking a sweat.

To do this day she remains a talented and promising young anti demon ninja and has succeeded in numerous missions. Naturally she has made a fair share of enemies along the way, from demons to mad scientists all looking to take their revenge upon her. The young girl has a bright future ahead of her provided that less than savory individuals don't come and break her down, putting how far she has to go into perspective....

Appearance: She is a young woman with long blue hair (ending in some games in a purple end) and red eyes. Her younger version wears her hair down, while her older version has a pony tale.

Murasaki wears a white Taimanin battle suit, in her youth it is open on her upper thighs. Later on, the white suit also has a black line vertically.

Main Weapon: Giant Axe

Ninja Arts: "Immortality Awakening" she can heal with a superhuman rate, unless her brain or heart get destroyed simultaneously or through the workings of demon technology/magic. For the most part, she can heal every injury within seconds or minutes. Her immortal body also gives her enhanced strength and speed.

Superhuman Strength: Can lift a giant oversize Axe with no problem and seems to be the most physically strong Taimanin. Thanks to her muscles healing quickly, it can move her own strength above human limits.

Particle Control: Taimanin are able to manipulate Taima Particles to enhance their physical strength, speed and defense. The particles are also used to counter demonic influences and strengthen damage to demons.

Fusion: Able to fuse with Kiryuu, a mad scientist who experimented on her, thanks to her healing factor.

Weapon Summon: If she is fused with Kiryuu, she is able to form her Axe out of her body and blood.

Ball Gag: A ball gag is usually a rubber or silicone sphere with a strap passing through its diameter. The most common diameter is 1.75 inches (44 mm), but other sizes can be found. OTM Gag: The over-the-mouth gag (sometimes abbreviated to OTM), is often described in fiction (particularly crime serials) as preventing the subject from speaking through the use of soft materials such as scarves or bandannas. The long scarf or bandanna is pulled over the subject's mouth and tied at the back of his/her head. In practice, it does not silence the subject very effectively. Images of OTM gags usually applied to women, had been prevalent since the film serials of the early 1900s. For this reason, the OTM gag is associated with the typical damsel in distress. OTM gags are often combined with stuff gags to make them more effective in silencing the wearer.

Muzzle Gag: A muzzle gag works in a similar way as an over-the-mouth gag, only that they are usually made of leather, are fastened around the head with buckles and straps, and cover the lower part of the face. It is so called because it resembles a muzzle used on animals, with a flexible pad that straps over the mouth, and sometimes also around the cheeks and chin. Muzzle gags have a strong psychological effect on some people, because of the association of being restrained in a way generally associated with animals. Restricting the movement of the jaw and covering the cheeks can both increase the efficiency of a gag. It is difficult to draw the line between a muzzle gag and a head harness with an attached gag.

Penis Gag: A penis gag is a gag that has a bulge resembling a phallus (erect penis) or a nipple that is placed into the mouth to enable the wearer to suck on it in a manner similar to an adult pacifier. The use of a phallic shape is intended to give it an erotic connotation, but it may be a large knob — similar to a ball gag — or may be inflatable. The pecker gag may be wide and flat and large enough almost to fill the mouth, intended to depress the tongue.

Ring Gag: A ring gag is similar to a ball gag, except that the ball is replaced by a hollow ring. The ring reduces the risk of choking and allows access to the mouth. Oral sex may be performed if the ring is big enough.

Story:

Born, in the year 2053, into the Yatsu family, a lower ranked faction that served the Igawa clan.

She together with her older brother Yatsu Kuro is very loyal to Asagi especially. Her family also looked after Koukawa Asuka after the Koukawa Massacre.

When Mursaki was young, she trained with Asagi and started to worship her for her skills, Asagi joking the two would marry if Murasaki defeated her, something that Murasaki took seriously. Murasaki started to become known as a prodigy Taimanin in training at Gosha Academy. Despite her youth and inexperience, many veterans, including Asagi, saw great potential in Murasaki. Even when Asagi was retired, Murasaki continued her training and became a bit of an idol of Gosha Academy and Student Council President. As Asagi became entangled in and later escaped, the Chaos Arena in Taimanin Asagi, Murasaki was sent directly to the location. She was was part of the cleanup crew that raided the arena. Murasaki herself, decapitating the man responsible for Asagi's body modification Kiryuu Sabato, something he survived by using demonic cells.

When Asagi and Sakura returned to Gosha, Murasaki developed an even stronger rivalry/friendship (much to her own dismay) with Sakura, jealous that Murasaki could not be Asagi's sister but helped her to grow as a Taimanin.
