She is blunt and feisty but remarkably honest, respectful of differences, and genuinely curious about other cultures—especially humanity.

A skilled archer, martial artist, blacksmith, tinkerer, cook, flower collector, and poet, Akitsura is far more intelligent and thoughtful than her intimidating appearance suggests. As a village warrior, she has fought and killed when necessary, but she believes strength should serve a purpose and that needless cruelty is shameful. Her Yellow Oni nature gives her a restless, easily agitated side and a tendency toward regret, which she tries to transform into wisdom rather than self-loathing.
