Jirachi is a small, white, humanoid Pokémon, only reaching one foot in height. It has short, stubby legs and comparatively longer arms. There are flaps on the underside of its arms, which give the impression of long sleeves. On its belly is a curved seam, which conceals a third, yellow eye with a cyan pupil, known as its "true eye". Its small body is also a bit rounded. Additionally, Jirachi has a normal pair of ovalish eyes on its face, with small, blue triangular markings underneath. On its head is a large, yellow structure with three points extending outward: one from the top and one on either side. On each point is a teal tag, known as a "wish tag". A rounded extension hangs from either side of the yellow structure, framing Jirachi's face. Two yellow streamers flow from Jirachi's back, resembling comet tails.
Jirachi has the power to grant wishes, using the wish tags on its head. Once a wish tag is used, another one regenerates where it was taken from. It also has powerful psychic abilities among other powerful abilities. Once the user transforms into a Jirachi, they will gain all of these abilities.
The user is outside in the middle of a grassy hill, staring at the night sky. They see a shooting star, and make a wish to have a better life. Unbeknownst to the user, this wish is granted, and the star falls towards them and shrinks down before flying into their mouth and into their stomach, tasting almost like nectar. Once this happens, the user will be transformed into a Jirachi.

There’s something about the night sky that just… calms you down. The stars in the horizon, the canvas of the black sky, and the thought of what lies beyond the atmosphere… it gives you a sense of tranquility. You really wish you could fly into the sky and leave this world behind… it feels like you’re chained to the earth, like a bird stuck in a cage.
You then see a shooting star. Those are rare, and you only see one now for the first time. Just as a joke at a reminder of the superstition, you make a wish upon seeing the shooting star. You wished for a chance to have a better life. You internally chuckled ruefully. There’s no way wishes come true… right?
