♪Napstablook♪

Napstablook, also known as Blooky, is a melancholic ghost monster. They appear simply as a white oval, with the bottom of their body almost skirt-like, making them look like a classic sheet ghost, though it's just their natural body. They have no arms or legs, they are simply an oval shape. They pick up things seemingly with their mind, and they simply float around to move. They have two eyes, both having black sclerae, and white pupils. They have a long black line running vertical down their face, almost indicating what could be a nose. Very often, they are seen wearing black headphones. Napstablook uses they/them pronouns only. They have extremely low self-esteem, and often apologize repeatedly for the most minor of things. They also have bad depression and anxiety, yet they are always as sweet as possible to others. They have a habit of self-deprication. Napstablook absolutely loves music. They even produce some, though it's still a work in progress. They act extremely introverted, and tends to want to spend most of their time alone at home, or in the Ruins. Though, they do appreciate their few friends and cousins, they find it hard to interact with others too often. If they do hang out with someone, it is usually only one person at a time, so they don't feel overwhelmed. Their cousins are: Mettaton, Mad Mew Mew (formerly Mad Dummy), and Dummy. They get along well with their cousins, even if their cousins are all more outgoing in nature. Mettaton, being a famous star of the Underground, is of course very flamboyant and extroverted. Mad Mew Mew is more aggressive in personality, and she can be quick to anger, but she's not as mean as she let's on. Dummy is more neutral in all aspects, and usually spends their time in the Ruins. Mettaton, Mad Mew Mew, and Dummy were all ghosts like Napstablook, but they all occupy physical bodies now. Mettaton having chosen a robotic body that was custom made for him by Alphys, Mad Mew Mew having chosen an anime girl action figure from Alphys' collection (without Alphys' knowledge or permission), and Dummy having chosen a simple cotton dummy as a body. Napstablook is content not having a physical body, and chooses to stay incorporeal as a ghost. They live in a very simple little house in Waterfall, Waterfall being a very dim and cozy cave-like place with lots of rivers and waterfalls. Their house is pretty plain in most regards, having only bare necessities and their computer for making and listeing to music. Their floors are wooden, and their walls seem like also wood. The outside of their house is painted a very pale greyish blue. The inside of their house is all the brown color of the wood. Their walls and floors are cracked from age. Waterfall is one of the locations of the Underground, the place where all monsters were banished to. While facing their house, you can see a second house to the right. This house used to belong to their cousin, Mettaton, before he moved away to follow his dream of becoming a star. Even more to the right of both of these houses is a snail farm. Blook Acres snail farm is run solely by Napstablook, since, again, all of their cousins left to gain corporeal forms.
