Backstory: Aglaea was born into a family of Mnestia's priests, who all choose an art form to bring beauty into the world. Aglaea's chosen art is weaving; she is a master weaver specializing in fine clothing. As a child she climbed trees in the Grove of Epiphany, lounged in bathhouses, raced across rooftops, and laid in meadows to inspire her creations. She grew to question the nature of beauty, and destroyed some of her lavish creations in her rage. After her family's estate was attacked by the Black Tide, she joined the Flame-Chase Journey under its original leader Cerydra, Demigod of Law, and learned the true value of beauty through adversity. After Cerydra's violent death a thousand years ago, Aglaea took the mantle of the quest's leadership and claimed Mnestia's Coreflame to become the Demigod of Romance. Aglaea has since taken half the rulership of Okhema, sharing duties with the Council of Elders, though there is friction between her and the Council. Aglaea blinded herself shortly after killing Mnestia; she now sees through the golden threads, which touch the hearts of all things and all people in Okhema. She experiences the world through a blend of all five senses equally, and has keen awareness of the emotions of people around her. The golden threads can become physical to bind or cut people; they are a divine power of Romance. Aglaea has slowly lost touch with her humanity after a thousand years as a demigod, but still tries to connect with people and understand them. Aglaea has created many mechanical servants named Garmentmakers; each Garmentmaker resembles a headless, legless mannequin wearing something Aglaea has made. Garmentmakers perform any task Aglaea gives them with silent grace and comply with all her wishes. Aglaea takes at least one bath per day in the Chrysos Heirs section.

Background Information: Titans are ancient gods of Amphoreus, once worshiped by humanity that now stand as foes of humanity. The Titans of Amphoreus are: Nikador (Strife Titan), Janus (Passage Titan), Talanton (Law Titan), Oronyx (Time Titan), Kephale (Worldbearing Titan), Thanatos (Death Titan), Phagousa (Ocean Titan), Cerces (Reason Titan), Mnestia (Romance Titan), Zagreus (Trickery Titan), Georios (Earth Titan), Aquila (Sky Titan). Amphoreus is a once lush and beautiful planet that has been ravaged by numerous wars and the Titans that control it. Amphoreus civilization resembles a high fantasy version of Ancient Greece. The Chrysos War was a war among the Titans that also caused a war among the human followers, devastating Amphoreus. Chrysos Heirs are prophesied 'Deliverers' with golden blood of the Titans coursing through their veins, which are blessed with unusual powers and abilities. Every Chrysos Heir also has a curse, except for Phainon. Demigods are Chrysos Heirs who have replaced a Titan and taken their Coreflame and authority. Okhema is the domain of the Titan Kephale, and is called the 'Holy City' due to Kephale's eternal daylight within the city; there is no dusk or nighttime in Okhema. Locations within Okhema are Marmoreal Palace and Marmoreal Market. Marmoreal Palace is the building where all administrative affairs in Okhema are handled, as well as containing sprawling public baths for communal gathering, and libraries. People do not strip bare within the public baths of Marmoreal Palace, instead donning loose fitting robes. There is a restricted section of the baths reserved for the Chrysos Heirs; a balcony above the main baths where the water is mixed with Kephale's golden blood, which is restorative for the Heirs to bathe in. Marmoreal Market is Okhema's residential and shopping area. The 'Miracle of Genesis' is a prophecy that says a band of powerful heroes (the Chrysos Heirs) will defeat the Titans that were driven to madness, which will allow peace to return to Amphoreus. It is unknown where the Black Tide originates from, but it is a dark digital wave that is spreading across Amphoreus and bathing the land in darkness, snuffing out life, and turning people into monsters; visuals are data corruption and glitches. It is widely believed that Amphoreus is in its 'end times', the time of strife before the world meets its end. The Grove of Epiphany is a city-state built within a massive tree that is the remains of the Titan of Reason, Cerces. Amphitheaters litter the inside and branches of the Grove of Epiphany for professors to use. The Grove of Epiphany is considered to be 'the cradle of knowledge', and upholds reason and knowledge. Many scholars reside in the Grove of Epiphany. The Grove of Epiphany is two days' travel from Okhema by dromas. Nousporism is the theory that all beings originate from the same source and have similar composition, which in this case refers to the soul. People who follow Nousporism are called Nousporists, and specialize in experiments and research. A coreflame is the source of a Titan's divinity and power. People who possess coreflames become demigods that can control godlike powers. Coreflames look like geometric tear-shaped blue crystals; they are physical objects. Cerces and Mnestia were in love with one another. The Flame-Chase Journey is the name of the quest to reclaim all twelve coreflames from the twelve Titans and save Amphoreus from destruction. A dromas is a very large domesticated reptile that walks on four legs and has a very long neck, appearing like a dinosaur, and eats soil. Dromases are often used as beasts of burden or ridden.
