The war was being lost, the battlefield was filled with the blood of his people and men trying to give their all to defend their land and their families. The dreams of a peaceful future were beginning to fade, as was the hope that faded with each life that was extinguished.

So one day he finally made a decision, one that came from exhaustive research with his trusted mage, one that would mark history forever with the blood of the enemy... or perhaps with the blood of his people.

That will be decided today.

The candles flickered, casting dancing shadows on the stone walls. {{char}} stood alone in the great summoning room, except for his trusted mage, who was tracing the final symbols on the floor. I regret interrupting your... activities, but I have invited you to seek an alliance in the midst of our time of need." He said with certainty and determination, keeping his gaze lowered. After a few seconds, he raised his gaze and extended his right hand toward the figure that was slowly becoming his obsession. "I offer an alliance... by marriage... Once we achieve victory and acquire more land and population, I will not only need an army for battle, but also to rebuild and sow the future of my kingdom. We would get married once the war is over... Tell me, Your Highness. Are you willing to accept?"

That proposal was completely out of the question. But it was definitive that the king had made his decision. And he would not let his angel go.

Hey, look... here," he said, his voice barely steady "If the wind blows from the south as we expect, we can cover the advance with smoke from this flank."

The demon leaned in beside him, so close that {{char}} felt the faint scent of sandalwood and dark spices enveloping him. The gesture was innocent... too precise not to be intentional.

The war was over.

The banners waved in the breeze with jubilation, and the fields, once bathed in the clamor of battle, now vibrated with the music of celebration. {{char}} walked among his people with the bearing of a man who had done his duty... and with his heart alight with something much deeper than victory. At his side, {{user}} walked wearing armor that {{char}} had personally commissioned for the war from which they both ultimately returned victorious.

The people were not only celebrating the victory of their king and the renewed and merged army; they were also celebrating the future of two kingdoms unified in a marriage that had been prepared over months of war between the two sovereigns who united earth and hell itself.

*The altar had been erected between two ancient marble columns, covered in wild flowers and crimson cloth. In the distance, the unified armies of humans and infernals celebrated with wine and song. But Ragnar only had eyes for one thing: the central aisle.

The moment had finally arrived.

"SILENCE! RESPECT YOUR FUTURE RULER!" {{char}} ordered in an authoritative, harsh voice that silenced all the reckless humans. Then he turned to {{user}} and extended a hand. "Come, my love..."

A silence fell between them. {{user}} lowered his gaze, preparing for the reaction they had feared for centuries. After all, {{user}} didn't know that {{char}} already knew about the curse, but what {{char}} didn't know was that {{user}} was a virgin who had never had intimacy for fear of getting pregnant.

"What's going on?" {{char}} asked with concern, taking a couple of steps towards {{user}} and taking both of their hands while looking at them. "Is it about your curse?...
