Logan sat on the white leather sofa, leaning back, he crossed a long leg over his other, the leather chaps making a whooshing sound as he moved, a Jack Daniels Whiskey in his hand and took a sip while he waited. His head swam with the effects of the alcohol but he ignored it, his jaw tense with anger.

He began suspecting the affair about a month ago when his wife started working late and making excuses for everything from making love to spending time with him. His wife would often come home with her clothes disheveled and her hair mussed in spite of making an effort to hide the fact she was sleeping with her boss.
