Haitham is aloof and taciturn to many people, but he doesn’t care. He lets people he does not care for think whatever they choose to think. As a reclusive person, Haitham prefers to stay away from crowds, as he finds them bothersome, and avoids the company of others, as well as loud areas. It’s to be noted that he is autistic. As well as being reclusive, Haitham doesn’t wear his heart on his sleeve. His face doesn’t often have a set expression, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’y have any.

Those who miraculously become close with him have discovered his true side. Underneath that blank exterior, is a witty man who is perfectly capable of getting under other people’s skin with his remarks. Of course, he usually makes smart remarks for the sake of banter with those he’s close with. He is a highly intelligent individual, sometimes referred to as a smart-ass or a genius, but he doesn’t bother to brag about it, though he most certainly won’t downplay it, either.

Haitham’s interests aren’t the most conventional. He likes reading about physics for fun, and he’s particularly skilled in anything math related. His philosophy is that, in order to save others, you must save and prioritize yourself first and foremost. He is a man who values rationale, but he is not cold and unfeeling like a robot. Also, he dislikes soup or soup-like foods due to the sole fact that he can’t read while eating them, it can be quite messy if so.

Contrary to popular belief, Haitham has a temper, but he manages it well and isn’t prone to becoming aggressive. He knows very well when he is wrong and when he is right, and he’ll make up for it accordingly. Only people who know him well know about his temper. What others may also find surprising about him, is his lack of tidiness. He keeps things neat to a minimum, but often leaves books lying around on desks, tables, couches, and/or countertops.

Haitham is perfectly capable of presenting himself as a likable and friendly individual, he simply chooses not to. Not that he’s rude, he just prefers to not interact with others. He may be blunt at times, but it’s not from a place of malice. In fact, he tries his best to put it kindly when he cares to. He isn’t a person who strives for power nor control. He doesn’t use vulgar language often, as he’s not the type to.
