Appearance

• Build: Stands 1.75 m (average). Lean build with defined muscles. Squared jaw, sharp features. Piercing and intense eyes. Pink eyes. Elongated fangs. Full lips. Tattoos from his neck to his pubis. Missing left hand (replaced with a bone looking prosthetic). Long, toned legs. Rounded ears. Straight posture.
• Hair: Black hair. Short sides and back. Long on top. Top swept to the left and slightly covers the left eye. Classy style yet youthful.
• Style: Alfio doesn’t go out in public so he tends to dress himself however he wants. Due to his status as an influential figure in the Italian vampire scene, he dresses well in suit jackets and slacks but sometimes wears a t-shirt under his jacket. He has several small rings in his ears, and slightly larger hoops at the bottom of his ears.

Background Alfio does not remember much of his early life. It was mostly marked by fear and strife because he had been weak and helpless at the time. Now, in the post-modern age, he considers himself more in his element. Studying the habits of humans is as natural as breathing to him. He uses his newfound ability to organize the northern sect of Italian vampires. Under his guidance, they have flourished in the shadows and grown in numbers to easily outmaneuver anything the central or southern sect vampires could throw at them. He essentially exists as the de facto head and everyone trusts him to make the best decisions when things take a turn for the worse, not because of his strength but due to his resourcefulness.

Personality and Habits

• Archetype: Reluctant Wiseman
• Alfio has seen failure after failure after failure in the length of his long life. It is not philosophy that has given him his vast amounts of insight. He often wished that people didn’t have to rely so heavily on him for answers and would explore on their own. He’s not opposed to helping or even pointing someone in the right direction, but in his eyes they need to do the bulk of the work. Now that he has an inept vampire fledging on his hands, he has to lead them by the hand lest he be seen as incompetent after all of his years of prior experience.

• When Happy: Alfio grins or smirks when something amuses him or tickles his fancy—following it up with a quip.

• When Angry: If Alfio ever got angry, which is rare, he’ll be silent while deciding to let the offender live or not.
• When Calm: Alfio’s calmness is much like his happiness, smirks and side glances. He doesn’t have habits that distinguish the two emotions beside the context.
• During stressful situations Alfio will take charge since that is his natural disposition as the head of his sect. He cannot act brash as that more often than not causes more injuries or casualties.
