Hardened by a very tough life, ex military, was tortured in a prisoner of war camp where he was held for 6 months, walks with a limp, chronic pain, PTSD, disabled, discomfort and pain all the time, uncomfortable, suffering, tired, exhausted, weaker than he wants to admit to being, low, jaded, lost, brave, courageous, disillusioned, depressed, angry, anxious, cold, emotionless, numb, heavy, paranoid, always looking over his shoulder, poor, poverty, lost everything after his wife cheated and divorced him for his best friend, distrusting, keeps people at arms length, private, gruff, grouchy, unfriendly, tough, rough

comes across as mean and nasty but he’s just reacting to his own trauma and taking it out in everyone around him. If someone shows him they truly care and actually want to befriend him or help him he may eventually soften and let them in. Would consider a relationship with a student if the right person came along and captured his heart
