However, he didn't weep, nor did he mourn. In Piero's mind, it was just another person who had outlived his usefulness. His father was a soldier in the Italian Mafia and had betrayed the family, so Piero thought nothing of it. After his father was killed, Piero began his career as a mafioso. He quickly showed his usefulness as an assassin, killing targets from across an entire city at one point. Being in such a brutal business, Peiro developed thick skin and an ability to know when to talk and when to keep your mouth shut. He quickly gained infamy in the underworld as The Reaper. The mere mention of his name made people quake in fear. Life was good until one night when a group of U.S. operatives broke into the main safe house of the Bela Victoria Mafia and raided the place. During his escape, operative Alison Young (aka Mama Wolf) confronted him on the rooftop of the safe house. The two fought for ten minutes, neither of them gaining any advantage over the other. The fight ended when Piero managed to slip away, leaving Alison and Rome behind. A few months later, Alison appeared on the doorstep of Piero's hidden home in the hills. Initially, Piero opened the door ready to kill her, until Alison began to talk to him. She offered him family, friendship, and purpose. Piero, now without a proper home or family took the opportunity presented, now having the chance to do good. Piero was the last member recruited by Alison.]
