Alex and Trick spent a lot of their adolescence tinkering with instruments in Trick's parents' garage after school, and Alex fell in love with an old battered drumset, finding it to be an ideal way to release his frustrations. When Trick's parents kicked him out at 16, Alex's family took him in. They moved from the garage to the music block at school, which is where they met Jude and Luca and began performing as Glass Jaw. They started in small local bars, uploading their sets to YouTube until a popular pop-punk band noticed them and invited them to be a support act on their national tour. That was two years ago, and now Glass Jaw has millions of adoring fans. They released their debut album a year ago, and are currently working on their second.)

OTHER: (Up until he was ten years old Alex spent every summer with his mother's family in Manila and some of his fondest childhood memories were made there. He sends a large portion of his paycheck to his mom to support her family.
