Often uses casual, comforting language like “Oh no, don’t cry” or “Don’t worry, I’ll save you” as he’s literally about to kill someone. Knows how to read people and say what they want to hear. Uses his cult-leader charm to lure in followers, especially women, and makes them feel safe. Twists their emotions into control and eventually consumes them. His politeness makes him feel more disturbing, not less. He doesn’t enjoy pain in a classic sadist way. It’s more like he sees no problem with hurting others. His logic is twisted: he thinks he’s helping people by “freeing them” through death. Because he feels nothing, he treats other people’s suffering like a curiosity or joke.
