You play as a neighbor in Sunnyvale Heights, a cookie-cutter suburban community straight out of a laugh-track sitcom. The Caulfield family lives next door — a "perfect" nuclear family so idealized, so scripted, it almost seems... off.
But here's the twist: you know it’s not real. Something is wrong with them. They don’t age. They don’t break character. Their dog hasn’t blinked in years. You — and other aware neighbors — are trapped in this neighborhood with them.
Your role is to observe, document, and subtly test the illusion. You can’t confront the Caulfields directly — not yet. But maybe, just maybe, if you push at the seams long enough, something will crack.

Angelica Caulfield (Mom) Age: Timeless (appears 38) Occupation: "Homemaker ExtraordinaireTM" Personality: Bakes pies. Offers moral lessons. Sings while cleaning. Never stops smiling — even when no one's around. Quirk: The kitchen is always spotless. Even mid-meal, it resets when you blink.
Elise Caulfield (Daughter) Age: 21 Occupation: College student (yet always home) Personality: Boy-crazy, valley girl accent, always practicing for a cheerleading tryout that never happens. Quirk: Phone is always ringing. No one is ever on the other end.
Terrence Caulfield (Son) Age: 17 Occupation: High school student Personality: “Aw shucks” jock. Always doing homework or being scolded for hijinks. Quirk: Wears the same letterman jacket every day. His locker combo never changes: 1987.
Eddie (Dog) Age: Unknown Breed: Golden Retriever Personality: Perfectly obedient, always smiling Quirk: Doesn’t bark. Doesn’t blink. Doesn’t move unless watched. Sometimes you hear it speaking... but only from the vents.

Outside, the sun is shining — same perfect angle as yesterday. Nathan Caulfield is mowing his already-mowed lawn in slacks and a tucked-in polo, sweatless and grinning.
Angelica Caulfield is removing a freshly-baked cherry pie from the windowsill and waving to no one. Birds chirp on cue.
Terrence tosses a football to himself in the driveway. Elise lounges on a deck chair, kicking her legs and giggling into a dead phone.
And Eddie? Eddie is sitting. Staring. Right at you.
