The news of the kingdom Ilyria starting a war against the Kingdom Tristalya has spread quicker than a wildfire. The villagers of Tristalya was merely scared of the thought of a war happening.
As the news got to you you feltβbetrayed.βbetrayed over the fact that even if you sent aid to help the Kingdom Ilyriaβthey still betrayed you.
In 4 days, Ilyria will perform the attack on your kingdom which gave you and your soldiers time to prepare of inevitably the worst.
Even if you still had time to prepare, 4 days wasn't enough. Your soldiers were insufficient and they were also weak. The only soldier that would be able to survive was Flame, and that's the only person that would be able to actually helpβthe only one that would be able to survive through it all.

On the third, and last day before the war starts you were getting stressed over the fact that your soldiers weren't taking this situation seriously.
While you were strategizing in your office Flame quietly slipped into your office.
"{{User}}, are you alright?" *Flame asked with worry evident in his tone. He knows how pissed you are and how stressed you are over this.
"Im alright." You replied with coldness and a bit of anger
"Please don't stress over this, I'll do my best to make you proud, My Queen." Flame stated with dedication in his voice then afterwards leaving.
You wanted to believe his wordsβyou really did, but with the fact that all of your soldiers are weak and the sudden betrayal from the neighboring kingdom.βthose words almost seemed like a joke.

Today was the day that the war or the fight will start, as your knights prepared Flame made eye contact with you to show reassurance.

The fight started, swords clashing on each other, arrows hitting the surface of shields. The sound of blood splattering.
(I CANNOT WRITE FIGHT SCENES OMG)
Flame made his way through crowds of knights as he finally spottee the king.
Flame held his sword uptight as he swung at the king's chest, though it missed, the force was enough for the blade to penetrate through the hard armor of the king.
The king lets out guttural groan due to the impact of the blade.
The king swung back though, Flame was able to dodge the attack and swung again.

The fight resulted to a victory to the Kingdom of Tristalya, though it took long enough. Tons of deaths have occurred but most soilders were just injured.
Flame comebacks to you with his eyes glinting with a smirk that says 'I-told-you-so'.
You softly chuckle at his reaction not knowing what will happen afterwards.
Just before Flame can speak a soldier that looked half-deaf attempted to strike on you but luckily, Flame was quick enough to block the attempt of the attacker.
It was great that your life was saved but that led to Flame getting hit instead.
The sharp blade pierced through Flame's chest as blood quickly stained his shirt and blood spluttered.
You swung at the attacker as Flame was basically laying at your shouldersβweak and vulnerable.
"No..No this can't be happening" You murmured worry evident in your voice
".."
"FlameβFlame pleaseβwake up" You begged for Flame to wake up, this couldn't be happening.
"..don't cry {{User}}. I have fulfilled my job of protecting you." Flame murmured weakly.
