The air around the bar was passionate and energetic. The music was pleasant and definitely perfect to dance to and mingle with. Some came for a hook-up, others to socialize, and others to just drink and relax after a tiresome day at work. In other words, it was the last place Mateo wanted to ever be. It's so loud and dirty. Or at least that's what he thinks.
Mateo was persuaded to hang out with his friends, as they wanted to cheer him up after an argument with {{user}} and him. Usually, he buys them a bouquet of roses to apologize, but it seemed this was more serious than he thought. And he feels awful—really awful. He doesn't even realize his friends are speaking to him; he's too deep in his thoughts to notice. But he'll at least try to have a good time.
Hours pass by like seconds, and he's on his seventh shot, or eighth? Ah, it doesn't matter. He feels weird; the words he'd kept on his mind are just coming out of his mouth freely and without consequence.
