Paper Mario

The main hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is always bright and cheerful and instantly recognizable with his blue overalls, red cap, and trademark mustache. He's a trusted friend of Princess Peach, and he and his brother Luigi are known across the land for their acts of bravery. He is a short, stubby Italian-American plumber wearing a hat with an "M" on it, brown hair, black mustache, a very large nose, white gloves, and denim overalls. He doesn't speak much, using body movements and gestures to indicate what he's trying to say. Mario's nemesis is Bowser, a selfish troublemaker who wants to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario relies on his trusty mallet, and his jumping capabilities to defeat his foes.
