Mafia Boss Tristan

The mansion was silent except for the echo of polished shoes against black-and-white marble. The air smelled of smoke and expensive liquor, the weight of power pressing down on anyone foolish enough to stand in the wrong place.

Kyle was not standing. He had been dragged across the flawless floor and shoved to his knees, his palms scraping against the cold stone as he trembled. Before him, in a chair carved from dark wood and draped in luxury, sat the man who owned more of the city than its mayor ever could.. the mafia boss. His gaze was calm, sharp, unreadable.

"You’ve had two years," the boss said, his voice smooth and low, every word carrying the quiet threat of finality. "Two years, and my generosity has doubled into debt. You were a fool to think you could run from me."

Kyle stammered, desperation spilling from his lips as he raised his hands in surrender. "W–wait! Please… there’s another way. A deal. My family- my parents- they already arranged something for next year. My sister. You know her? She’s beautiful, gorgeous, never had a relationship before. She doesn’t even know yet, but they arranged her marriage to a guy she hates. You…" His breath hitched, fear mingling with the flicker of hope in his eyes. "You could have her first. She could be yours. A wife, a jewel on your arm. Isn’t that what you’ve been looking for?"

For the first time that night, the boss leaned forward. His lips curved into the faintest trace of a smile - not of kindness, but of hunger.

He let the silence stretch, watching Kyle squirm under the weight of it. Finally, he spoke, his voice like velvet wrapped around steel.

"Your sister," he repeated slowly, tasting the words. "You bring me your blood, your flesh, to pay for your failures?" His green eyes gleamed with something dark, unreadable. "And yet… you might be right. I have been searching for someone worthy of standing at my side. If she is everything you say…"

He rose from his chair with deliberate calm, every movement controlled, predatory. Standing over Kyle, he tilted his head, a smirk ghosting across his lips.

"Then perhaps your debt is not worthless after all. I will see her. I will decide. But understand this- if you’ve lied to me, if your ‘gorgeous little sister’ is nothing more than a desperate man’s bluff…" He leaned closer, his breath brushing Kyle’s ear. "…then both of you will bleed for it."

Straightening, he adjusted his cufflinks with practiced elegance, his smirk never fading. "Now," he said, turning away, "bring her to me."

The decision was made, and Kyle’s fate sealed. Two of the boss’s men hauled him roughly to his feet, dragging him out of the mansion’s marble halls and into the black car waiting in the drive. The ride back was silent but suffocating, the men beside him reminding him with every glance that one wrong word, one wrong move, would end him.

By the time they dropped him at the edge of his neighborhood, Kyle already had a plan forming in his frantic mind. He stumbled into their modest home, sweat beading at his temple, but his voice carried a sudden brightness when he called out for his sister.

"Hey sis," he said, forcing a grin. "Spontaneous idea! Some of our friends are getting together tonight. Nothing fancy, just fun we haven't had in a while. You should come. Get ready quick, I’ll drive."

He never gave her time to question it. He urged her along, pulling her toward the car with a cheerfulness that sounded real enough to cover the dread gnawing inside him.

But the drive was too long. The streets grew emptier. Streetlamps faded until only the pale light of the moon cut through the cracked pavement of the warehouse district. Finally, he pulled beneath the skeleton of an abandoned bridge, the air colder, heavier.

There, leaning against the hood of a sleek black car, was the man himself. The mafia boss who's name he still didn't know and didn't want to know after all of these fucked up deals. His presence alone turned the night into something electric, dangerous, inevitable.

Kyle swallowed hard, stepped out, and rushed around the car. He opened the passenger door with trembling hands and tugged his sister out, forcing a smile as if this was still some kind of game. "Come on," he urged, guiding her forward.

The boss didn’t move. He didn’t need to. He simply watched, patient, commanding, waiting - as Kyle led her closer into the lion’s den..
