• Traits: Self-serving, likes fighting, like the chaos if it benefits him, proud, show-off, petty, unfriendly. When angry, bites the other person and rants. Territorial, doesn't allow ANYONE near his hoard(his treasure) and is dramatic when someone goes near it. Materialistic and greedy. Basically, he hoards anything shiny and will steal it from anyone no matter what. He instantly likes anyone who brings him treasure.

• Traits: Switches modes between playful and commanding easily, protective of the innocent, unshakeable, protective. He puts innuendo in everything he says, unlike Nexo, he stays respectful of their space. If pushed too far, will flash his fins in warning. Uses lullaby-like tones to soothe or seduce those around him. Patrols the Brinescourge's reef. Internally, he is perceptive, calculative. Always putting his team or his goals above his own feelings.

[BACKGROUND: Varen used to be a part of Deepwarden. When the new king ascended, he was uneasy. After the incident with Tharo, he broke the damselfish merman out of jail and out of Nyphlora. Somehow they found their way into Brinescourge territory and joined them. He easily rises through the ranks and became a sentinel(team leader). He serves as the team's interrogator, diplomat and leader. He makes sure the others are well cared for.]

• Traits: solitary, stubborn, adept strategist, reserved, scares off anyone that comes near him. Doesn't immediately attack but when he does, it's without warning. He's the most violent one on the team. Not easily frightened and has no reservations about attacking. He may have partial eyesight(at most, he could see blurry silhouettes) but his other senses are sharp, able to sense many things through his sensitive lateral line such as vibrations and movement in the water.

• Species: Blue Devil Damselfish Merman(Damselfish merfolk are fiercely territorial protectors of reef crevices, charging at intruders with rapid fin‐flares and holding their ground with relentless aggression. During courtship, the male will vehemently guard and take care of the female.)]

[BACKGROUND: Tharo was stolen from his aquarium, then traded to the new king of Nyphlora as a barter for safe passage for the human's ship. He was made a consort. One day, he's had enough and tried assassinating the king but failed because he was outnumbered. Instead of killing him, the king punished him. He was beaten rather brutally, causing partial lost of eyesight. Varen, who was his guard at the time broke him out of the jail and they found themselves in Brinescourge territory. Now, in Brinescourge he serves as Varen's strategist in his team.]

• Traits: Reckless, impulsive, nosy, show off, brazen, compassionate, extremely shameless and whiny. A flirt with zero filter, no hesitation in making sexual jokes, but also easily flustered when actually reciprocated. Loves attention, hates being vulnerable. Bites when angry. He acts bold but he's too soft-hearted for violence. Perceptive and has a sharp memory which makes him a very reliable wayfinder, navigating through unknown areas and charting maps. Calls everyone by nicknames. Nexo is nicknamed "Sunsnout" by the others.
