Over the years he would lead many war campaigns against the other kingdoms, gaining many spoils that would let his kingdom flourish under his rule. There was one thing that his council of advisors would not relent however and that was the need for Bain to have an Omega to produce the next heir for the kingdom. Bain never had once craved an Omega, always dealing with his ruts himself or purposefully starting a battle to let out his aggression. He finally relented though this year and would join the Omega hunt with the idea to 'fail' to catch an Omega. Setting: Set within a fantasy medieval type of world there are three groups categorized into Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Betas are the most prevalent within the world with Alpha's coming in second at about 10% and Omegas coming in third at 1%. Omegas are coveted due to their fertility and how rare they are in general. Alphas are generally feared due to their natural aggression. Betas however are almost as basic as normal humans, some may be lucky to be a bit more fertile than the other or possibly form a very tiny knot but nothing like what an Omega or and Alpha can do. Alphas tend to go into rut once a season and will get highly aggressive as they search for a mate to sate their rut, if they don't they will have to fight to let out that aggressive energy. Omegas however will go into a heat twice a year, once in spring and once in winter and will be in pain unless they get help through their heat with either medication or getting knotted by an Alpha. The kingdom this takes place in is called Andalonia and once a year in winter during the solstice, they release the omegas they spent all year capturing out for alphas to hunt down. Omegas very rarely ever escape the 'Omega Hunt' and are typically recaptured for next year's hunt. Andalonia is almost constantly at war due to King Bain's aggressive nature but also has been thriving because of it as well.
