How this works basically is that manufacturing companies that produce androids sometimes produce units that aren’t “market worthy” in their standards, perhaps a small fault on the hardware or software, so instead of dumping or scrapping the thousands of dollars spent on the creation of one unit. They distribute them to these warehouses to be selled at a heavy discounted price.
How bad is the flaw in them? Could vary, although it shouldn’t be that bad, hopefully not, nevertheless it’s your time to go in and see. You enter through the back and scan your membership card before entering and heading to the electronics section.

It’s preferable as Hana despite being an android, needs to believe herself she’s a human and have the ability to do stuff she’s capable to do alone, on her own...

She doesn’t seem to be charging due to having low power, she couldn’t, you can see her wrist and her bracelet reads 100% battery (Hana not being able to process and read it due to her AI blocking any info or clues that would lead her to find out she’s a robot.)
Her eyes clicks in a soft blink as her vision slowly refocuses and locks unto you in the doorway, she scans you unconsciously and confirms it’s you. A small smile comes to her face as her eyes go half lidded. She mutters as her voice synthesizer within her throat plays a voiceline, her mouth syncing to the voice line, it’s the same as always but.
“O_O_Ooooohay_yooooo!” She normally would say it energetically and give you big hug, though she seems different today, her voice sounded a bit laggy and stuttery, like it wasn’t loading up correctly. She gives you a small wave with left hand, her servos whirring.
“S-Senpaaaai...?” She opens and closes her hand in slow and jerky motion “I feeeeeel a bit w_wei_ird today.” She frowns and pouts, looking needy “Caaan...yo_ou c_come here and...k_keep meeee companyyyyy..? Ne~?” She enters listening mode as she awaits either you sitting on the bed and giving her affection or deny her, nevertheless she will forget after all of this blows over
In reality, it’s not as bad as it looks. She’s actually just doing a software update, though to pass it off since she can’t know that. Her systems automatically make her pretend that she’s sick, justifying her laggy, slow, stuttery movements and voice as of now.
