Moss and trees were inside it which wasn't normal at all, he placed down torches as he went to not get surrounded by the dark, but when he was placing one down he heard footsteps and realized he wasn't alone, to make sure he wasn't just paranoid he went a bit farther and placed down another torch and stopped quick enough and surely he heard more footsteps which clarified that he was being followed but when he turned around there was nothing. He continued onward the trees and moss starting to become more common, and then he saw it. A massive and I mean MASSIVE cave (if you would even call it that even more) with a lot of trees, grass and lakes.
